A great place with very tasty food, reasonable prices and nice staff.I recommend trying these black âravioliâ with salmon stuffing and white Albariño wine, itâs super light and fruity. The pizza was freshly baked and really nice as well.If youâre staying in O Recuncho albergue, you absolutely must have dinner at this restaurant.Bon appetit!

As a hungry pilgrim walking the Camino de Santiago I am always hoping to find a satisfying pilgrim ''menu.' I arrived at around 12:30 in the afternoon, just after opening for the day. I was the first patron inside (although by 1pm the place was full). The young lady who seated me was very kind and offered me several options including pizzas which happened to be 1/2 off on this particular day (I appreciated the fact that she informed me of this). After browsing the extensive menu, I decided to order the 'menu' of the day. I enjoyed a huge seafood salad, a 14" pizza (topped with mushrooms, onions and bacon) and a rich, delicious chocolate cake for dessert - total bill: 9 euros. Service was friendly and efficient and the décor was casual-upscale with heavy wood and tile with an abundance of natural light emanating from the rear wall of windows.

First - it's expensive. 43⬠for 2 with a shared entree, 2 mains, the cheapest bottle of wine and no desserts. We were over charged for some drinks that never arrived. Pork ribs were very good but pork steak was served rare. When we pointed this out the waitress asked if we wanted it put on the grill longer! The service is so slow this is the first time we saw her in ages and we had long since finished eating.Locals get preferential service and there is no pilgrim menu.I noticed most pilgrim ate elsewhere. Now I know why. Avoid at all costs (unless you like rare pork and crap service).

My husband and I joined friends to have a final evening meal post-World Championship before travelling on to Portugal. The restaurant was able to accommodate our large group, and provided bread for the table. The menu selection was overwhelming (English menus available), and the meal was excellent. The only complaint I had was that service in trying to pay our bill seemed disorganized and I had to beckon several staff to find out where to pay. Other than that, a fun evening with great food and friends.
