Lo Scudiero is one of the largest and most famous restaurants in Grazzano Visconti. Like everything else in GV, Lo Scudiero is a hi-fi replica of a middle-age "locanda": charming and evocative. The main room is large and can easily accomodate large groups of friends. The restaurant has a small (fenced) garden with a few outdoor table so, if are with a group of children, you can leave them unattended in the garden. I think it is a nice place for families and groups of friends.Food is very good. My wife and I tried a mixed salami appetizer with "gnocchetti fritti" (fried bread), tagliatelle with mushrooms and a mixed meat grill and all of them were just perfect. Even draft wine was very good. We spent something like 40 ⬠as a total so I can say it is not an expensive restaurant.The staff is friendly and helpful.

The pizza looks good but I chosed a dock hamburger. Good quality. The Local bier was ok. A lot of space indoor and outdoor. Cosa it tuo can get to Rivergaro. A little nice Local Holiday small town and to have a good icecream.

This is a very attractive restaurant with a buzz about it, especially at the weekend. It looks fantastic as you drive up. There's a huge choice of pizzas and they're very good. But there's something not quite right about the service. The first time we came we were ignored for 20 minutes - OK, Saturday night, they were busy. The second time, we all ordered beer, and they brought the bottles, but no glasses. And they're not apologetic about it. If you are happy to go for the atmosphere and the food, fine. But if bad service annoys you, best to avoid.

Birrificio con cucina alle porte del meraviglioso borgo di Grazzano Visconti: ottime birre (ovviamente vi è anche la possibilità di acquistarle!) e accoglienza perfetta. Per quanto riguarda la cucina non posso esprimermi granché, in quanto abbiamo provato soltanto un tagliere di salumi piacentini, comunque degno di nota.Sono aperti da poco e mi auguro avranno il successo che meritano: all'interno dei ristoranti e dei bar del borgo è facile prendere delle cantonate, qui invece si va veramente sul sicuro.

Non passo quasi mai di li ma percorro la SS45. Trovo questa pizzeria e la provo. Pizza veramente ottima, perfetta anche di sale nella base pizza (se câè troppo sale me ne accorgo perché bevo tutta la notte). My wife and I stumbled on this great Restaurant on our vacation. When we saw business folks dressed in their suits, we new this would be a great place to try.We ordered the Marinated Octopus and were very please with the best octopus dish we had ever had.Great portion plus lightly marinated in olive oil,parsley and lemon.Then we each had our own personal Pizza with fresh eggplant, basil, mozzarella and very light tomato sauce cooked quickly in their fired brick oven. The crust was amazing with the rest of the pizza. The service was very good and all the tables had white fresh tablecloths.We ate outside and had no bugs flying around . The staff was very friendly.

We opted for this pizzeria as its well known as one of the best in the valley. I was there many years ago but i barely remembered it. The restaurant is actually a house, cozy and simple. A few more efforts could be made to improve the finishing of the place, but i reckon it is their will to keep it that way. There's a wide choice of pizzas, all the products origins are specified on the menu. A few specials of the day/week make definitely the list of most recommended. A nice choice of crafts beers complete the uniqueness of the offers this pizzeria has.Pizzas are made to order and in front of you. I can say for sure that their doughts is one of the best i have ever tasted and overall their pizza is amazing.Prices are just a tiny bit over the average, but you definitely know where that extra money is going, and its worth it!Congrats and keep it this way!

We had dinner here on a super cold sunday night. As a few other reviews said...a bit anonymous and not so cozy. The area inside could be improved, because the main feeling is a bit like entering a canteen, with green horizontal stripes and very strong and bright lights. The menu is simple, easy and honest. I had pisarei: my plate was huge but the taste wasn't much there.The thing is: i would support 100% a nice, simple and budget restaurant, but i can't see the study, the efforts. Even if a place is cheap, there's bazillion of things that can be done to make it unique.Ill try it again on the outdoors when the summer comes.
