Things to do in Varadero
The crust was very thin and hardly any cheese at all. Not too much choice in the toppings but it was very tasty since they use all home grown ingredients. The service was very fast and the people are very friendly and nice there.

Our Mamma Mia Bar/Restaurant has a big terrace area if you like to hang out outdoors, but it also has a VIP room with A/C and TV if you prefer some privacy. We offer most traditional Cuban drinks and dishes. Come and visit our completely renovated Mamma M
We were actually planning on going to different restaurant for dinner, this was the suggestion of our Cab Driver. It was a very nice surprise. The pizza was excellent and this will now be on our list of Restaurants we visit when here. The Cab drive brought us in talked to the staff and picked us up when we were done. Will definitely be back in April on our next visit.

We ate here one night based on our positive experiences on other visits. Unfortunately this restaurant has gone downhill. One of our pasta dishes was barely warm, there was no background music (unlike before). And the service was poor. When were asked about lack of music we were told that the government had forbidden it???

This is a great spot to watch the traffic and tourists pass by in Varadero. We usually have the calzones and Crystal when we visit and are always happy with our experiences.

We went to Cuba with two first time travelling teens (15 and 17). The 15 year old girl is very picky, she actually lost 7 lbs. in cuba whereas the 17 year old boy gained 10lbs. Anyways we went here and it was a huge hit. We ordered the Hawaiian and it was exactly like how it would be in Canada. Lots of meat, lots of cheese and lots of pineapple. And priced very fairly for the amount you get. A large fed 4 or us easily.

We have had dinner here many times over many visits to Varadero. The wine, food & service is very good. But, this time we noticed our food to be extra salty. If you decide to eat here I would recommend you request the chef hold off on the salt . The food is very good without all the salt.

We had lunch here and kept it light so we split a fish finger appetizer. We both loved it and our pina coladas to. One of the best restaurants in Varadero is directly across the street but Don Alex is better value for the money.

Located in Cuba's prime beach resort, Varadero, 4 years of experience serving succulent haute cuisine meals to local and international customers have earned Salsa Suarez many true and loyal advocates. Probably, the most awe-inspiring and all-encompassing
All wrong!? I just donât get it. Is it because Cuban restaurants are generally awful that a nice looking place with tidy waiting staff and a kitchen putting effort into presentation of food has everyone fooled? Smoke and mirrors? It just wasnât good...at all. The chicken dish had that smell and taste of chicken on the edge of off. The pork dish was over-cooked and covered in what tasted like barbecue sauce from a jar and the cream spaghetti was just poor as they obviously lack the ingredients necessary. This may not be their fault but at the overall price it just isnât worth it.
