Things to do in Tux
We ate there this evening on recommendation, though needed to make a reservation as Swings is very popular. It is newly decorated with a smart âwine barâ theme. We were accorded a warm welcome and quickly shown to our table. The menu is compact but with a good variation of dishes: From Pizza to Steak to Thai noodles. Our choices were a Thai chicken curry & Thai noodles with beef - the dishes arrived after a short wait, and the portion sizes were generous. The food was obviously freshly cooked using quality ingredients and very flavoursome - quite a few other diners were also ordering the Thai options. The burgers appeared to be a popular choice & yet again very generous portion were served.A beer, G&T and 2 main courses came to â¬44Well worth a visit for something different.

We twice visited this place for diner and we were very satisfied with both food and service. Starting with the winelist, there are several good, local wines available as wel as more special and expensive ones. Enough to choose from. The menu is as you expect in a Pizzeria very Italian, all famous italian dishes are served. We had starters: carpaccio, proscuito/melon, beeftartar, mozzarella caprese and everything was very tastfull. Carpaccio we would recommend the owner to serve fresh one instead of defrozen; this is wat you have from the supermarket and in a restaurant you expect just a little bit more than that. Main dishes were also nice, pizza, spaghetti very tastfull. We have a tip from a satisfied customer: if your own family is in the restaurant, make sure you have your attention for service to the guests instead of giving your children a nice time....... Next time we will be back!!!
The owner is very friendly and jovial. He was very helpful and then provided us with games to entertain ourselves whilst we waited for the pizzas. The pizzas were amazing!! We had a lot of fun chatting with the owner and other guests. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We went to Pipasa for a mid week evening meal. The restraunt is bright & airy with modern decor, extremely clean & well presented. We were met by friendly efficient staff, were quickly seated in the rear dining room, and our drink order taken. The menu has good selection of pizza, pasta & salad dishes - this also included a self service extensive salad bar, if required as an extra side dish.Whilst we were making our choices, a table near us were just leaving - with pizza boxes!?! The waiter took our order: pizza salami & house pizza. Our pizzas arrived - my eyes nearly popped out of my head, both pizzas were huge thin crust creations. Each one must have been around 35cm diameter, brimming with toppings. The ingredients were all very fresh & numerous. Having worked in Italy, I can honestly say this was one of the best pizzas I have tasted in a long time! Due to their sizes, my wife & I were unable to finish either of them - the waiter asked if we wished to take the remaining pieces away with us - hence the boxes we saw earlier. This evenings pizza extravaganza was incredibly competitively priced - including drinks: about â¬28.Well worth a visit if you're a pizza lover or very hungry.
