The menu is huge and the food is amazing. Cool atmosphere where you can choose a COLD cool local beer or a tico Cocktail. The seafood dishes were deliscious and the service very professional and attentive. Rio is one of the best places to go out in Turrilaba if you want to enjoy dinner or have some drinks without feeling in a cantina.

When looking or an alternative to local fare, pizza is always an option almost anywhere in the world. This place is a small gem with just a few tables inside and more outside. The owner/chef seems like he takes his pie seriously. The cheese may not exactly match that in the US, however everything seems fresh. The only reason for 4 stars is the crust was just a little under done. Since we had all veggie that could have been why. I think if you order "crispy" but not burnt, you will get it just right. The staff is friendly and although English is a second language, they are helpful in every way. A medium is probably more than two people can eat as we had to take some with us and pan heat it in our cabins the next night. Good stuff and highly recommended.
