This is truly a Bridgeport Pizza Institution, been around forever, one of the originals in the area - food is always fresh, hot and delicious, old school place, small inside we usually do take out, but there are tables, online ordering now and free delivery and new menu, we tried something new: Pickle fries- fried pickles spears with a ranch style sauce - they were very good - not too oily and right amount of crunch left in the pickle, But we are here for Pizza - my Wife ordered the Fresh Tomato Pizza: I think the wrong item came it was a cheese pizza - awesome but not what she ordered, she ate it anyway - medium-thin crust and very good red sauce, I ordered the calzone, I opted for Shrimp and eggplant ( I know I said pizza but this is just a pizza folded up) it was amazing as well, usually just Pizza here but we do get diners which are great as well, huge portions and always amazing
Pizza here is good, not great, delivery is quick, person who answers the phone varies as well as the service, believe it is take out or delivery only, they still list items on their menu that they do not offer anymore

Gioveâs Pizza Kitchen is family owned and operated serving authentic italian and handmade pizza. It prides itself on fast and courteous service, friendly knowledgeable staff, and the freshest highest quality ingredients available.
We have been ordering from Giove's since we moved to Trumbull, a very long time ago and the food here is amazing, best Mashed potato pizza ever, I believe they invented this pie - but that is just my opinion, if they didn't invent it they perfected it ! many specials and coupons, customer service is excellent, when I finished my last round of Chemotherapy, I ordered pies from Giove's for the staff at Smillow, these guys cut me a deal and even threw in a pie on them ! That is class they even delivered the pies, I am a customer for lifeThank you so much for taking the time to leave such a kind review! We truly appreciate you and your family's continued patronage, and love to hear that you all enjoy the mashed potato pizza so much! We were honored to have been part of such a special moment in your life, and look forward to seeing your family again soon.

We make Italian concept dishes, New York style Pizzas, Calzones, Wings, Salads, Wraps, Fries and more. Gluten free/Whole Wheat Pizza and Dessert.
I ordered a calzone and the bread was hard and crusty. I prefer more of a pizza dough which they may or may not use. However, I took a small bite of my friends pizza (sold by the slice for variety) and found I liked that better than my calzone. I will go back, but no more calzones.

I brought my dad here on Father's day on the notion that this is one of many in a family of Italian restaurants with a history making good pies. We quickly realized that the service was subpar and the menu options are actually misleading. Ordered a half pepperoni pizza asking that there is a clear separation between meat and cheese (my dad is vegetarian). Ended up with pepperoni on both sides (under the cheese). The pie was supposed to be a pan pizza and it wasn't. It was made like every other pizza that they serve. I think there were at least three other preparation options, but I would bet that it doesn't make a difference what you order. The crust is extremely dry and there is no flavor to the sauce at all. They attempted to fix the mistake by making us wait an extra 40 minutes and overcharging us at the end for their error. Apparently calculating a half topping on a pie is really hard. Never going back again.

Massimos Corner Deli is awesome, we have been going here since they opened and have been going to their original location in Bridgeport for decades, fast, friendly service and everyone is always helpful and smiling, today we got takeout, my wife ordered 2 slices of plain cheese and I ordered the Bacon, Gorgonzola, Potato pizza - first time for me for this one - small or large only, the pizza did not disappoint as always it was great, not too thin and not too thick perfect balance fresh ingredients and made to order, and a Sfogliatella to share for dessert - the desserts are amazing and always fresh they always offer powdered sugar if you want it, we will be back

My husband and I stopped here for dinner. We started with salads, had a special of the night with blueberry goat cheese and lots of greens as well as a salad off the menu with blue cheese, raisins, almonds etc. both were fresh and delicious. My husband had the Bolognese and I had the rigatoni for main courses, both also very good. We didnât leave enough room for desert but all looked wonderful. Pizzas also looked great- hope to pass thru Trumbull again some time and would stop again.

Stopped in to get a late lunch. Overall the restaurant is ok We started off by having an order of calamari which was really good. Lightly battered and fried. Plenty of flavor and cooked perfectly. For our meals we had the chicken parmigiana with pasta, lasagna and the hot antipasto. The hot antipasto was good and flavorful. The chicken parmigiana was probably the star of the afternoon. The chicken was very flavorful and moist. My dish left me disappointed. The lasagna was not good at all. It did not have much taste to it and it seemed like it was at least missing several layers. The service was good. The waitress was quick to take care of us and she was quite patient with us having the grandkids. I think we may be back but I may have to try something else on the menu.

Most important the food is very good. Priced right and large portions. The pizza is also very good. Service is polite and attentive. The breakfast quesadilla is delish. Ravioli and tomato sauce is good; as well as he chicken orzo soup.My one criticism is that is needs updating. Has a very 70âs look. But donât let that stop you. It is a wonderful place to meet for a casual cup of coffee or dinner.
