This pizzeria is situated on the Piazza Garibaldi in the centre of the old town and proved to be a really good choice. The staff were very attentive and friendly, whilst our food was both ample and delicious, perhaps the best pizza I have ever had !Good atmosphere was added by being situated next to a gelataria next door which was frequented by the locals.

Located next to a Lidl on a roundabout just off the autostrada, but donât be put off.As others have, we wondered why we had traded the picturesque villages and towns of Tuscany for basically a car park - but we are glad we did.The best pizza we have had outside of Napoli. And of location is important to you, they offer takeaway too so you can enjoy back where youâre staying.

Nicely set tables and a welcoming appearance attracted us to stop at this restaurant for lunch. The menu is simple and quite basic, the waitstaff friendly. Don't expect too much and you will enjoy it.

We visit this place every year - eating pizza on the terrace overlooking Tuscany is the best feeling! The pizzas are unbelievably thin based and have beautiful toppings. Only one waitress speaks a bit of English but we muddle through with our smattering of Italian. Very popular place with the locals, which speaks volumes. Love it!

Stumbled across Piccolo Ristorante in the delightful village of Torrita di Siena. We sat in the outside garden setting with beautiful views over the Tuscan countryside. Our waitress was delightful and laughed with us over our lack of Italian. The mushroom tagliatelle was absolutely delicious, the menu choice extensive and reasonably priced. A really lovely lunch time stop.

I love this place, it is our constant destination when in the area for work (which is often). We come Spring, summer, fall and it is always delicious. They have great pasta, especially tartufo, but I always choose their pizza because it's delicious. I love that they have taste options that do not have meat. It is my favorite pizza this far north in Italy and I make sure to bring anyone visiting to the area.

Because it's good, it's busy, usually with locals, which is always a good sign. Daniel is a friendly English speaking manager, his partner is a wonderful cook. My wife says the Picci with beef Ragu is the best she's ever had and we've been going to Italy for 10 years. The Steaks are wonderfull in fact we've never had a bad meal yet and we've eaten there often. I've never tried one but the Pizzas look fantastic too. The name if the place is Il Botteghino so there may be another page elsewhere. We eat here at least twice a year.

For local food at a good price this takes some beating .Generous portions but no compromise on quality .Excellent value house wines and a good selection of traditional dishes .We both enjoyed anti pasti followed by grilled lamb with mint . All good .Friendly attentive service .Try it .Roger and Sara Mitchell

This is the pizza you write home about. Perfect in every way. Makes even the best Napoli style pizza back home in Toronto disappointing. We had the margherita and the cappriciosa (with some lovely anchovies). Amazing. The place has no table service and seems to be a combination grocery and pizzeria. You order at the check out counter on the way in and give them your name. When the pizzas are ready they call your name...as pronounced in the local dialect, so listen carefully!!! Also just grab drinks from the cooler on the left...when you're done, pay at the check out counter. It was slightly confusing but the effort was completely worth it.
