I have been going to this pizza place for over 30 years. I hadn't gotten food from here in a while so I decided to bring my family there and have a whole pizza cooked to order and eat there. Well, it took a little longer than anticipated, but it was worth the wait. The cheese was thick, crust cooked enough and the side with sausage and peppers was excellent. The sausage was so fresh and not broken into a million little bits, but hearty, nice pieces. I forgot how good this place was. I also love their cheese steaks. Keep up the good eats Naples! One note of suggestion however, they need to clean their spice bottles and salt and pepper and too bad they don't have a larger, nicer eating area. That would make the experience perfect.

The Anchor Inn is a great place to go for very good food, great service and reasonable prices. I love everything about the place. If you like fancy restaurants that have "atmosphere" and are very expensive, this place is not for you. The Delmonico is tremendous and big enough to share. We like to order some type of seafood dinner and the Delmonico and then share for Surf and Turf!

We met family members at Capone's for Friday night dinner. WE were really pleased with the wide selection of Gourmet Pizzas that were on the menu. However, we were surprised by a great selection of Italian Entrees. They offered everything from Chicken to Veal and Seafood. I had Chicken Saltimbocca over Penne and it was excellent. Everyone at our table took some of their dinner home as the portions were extra large. The staff here is friendly and efficient. We even got to meet the Owners parents who were working that night. This created a real friendly, family environment. You will love the wine you have with dinner as it will be something you bring from home. Capone's is BYOB.

Great Food - Great Service! Welcome, Via Roma Pizza and Italian Restaurant offers traditional Old World Italian dishes as well as many new innovative creations. In addition to our traditional menu, we offer a wide variety of gluten free and vegan dishes a
A two is being generous. The service was painfully slow and the place was boiling hot. When our server finally showed up and the place was not busy we ordered our drinks with a large pizza and two meatball sandwiches. The pizza came out in the normal time it should take but the two sandwiches were no where to be found. It took and additional 25 minutes for the two sandwiches. Slice the bread, put the balls on the bread w some sauce and bring it out. Not hard. The pizza was weak. I never thought I would say this but we get better pizza in Florida. The meatballs were bland and there was next to no sauce on it. We had to ask for more and we got a very small little plastic condiment cup w sauce. Seriously? This is a definite no on returning.

Mellow Mushroom is a funky, art-filled chain pizzeria featuring craft beer, calzones & creative stone-baked Southern style pizzas.
A friend took me to Mellow Mushroom in Toms River. Although I had passed by on Route 37 probably hundreds of times before, this place does not stand out, and I had no idea what it was. Turns out its an Atlanta-based restaurant chain, over 40 years old, they have over 100 locations, but I had never heard of them before. Checking their website, it looks like this location, their only one in New Jersey, is also their furthest north outpost. I'll bet the folks at Mellow Mushroom headquarters call them the Yankees. Now ⦠if you have read some of my other reviews, you know that, generally, I don't frequent chain restaurants. Little regional chains are OK, but I want to know there is an owner who cares in the kitchen. Another reason is, here in New Jersey, who needs to go to a chain restaurant for pizza? And especially a southern based chain restaurant? There are plenty of real Italians here in New Jersey, and there's a real Italian restaurant or Pizzeria on every corner. Yet here we were. Its a pretty big place. Walking in, I first notice a game room with an air hockey table, a giant Jenga game, some kind of basketball thing, and others. Next I see signs about live music several nights each week. We go to the bar and sit down. The bartender comes over to take our order. My friend has already told me about their Holy Shiitake pizza. Sounds good. Lets split one. But how big? We decide a medium might be fine for two people. And what to drink? I usually consume very little alcohol, but this place has a rotating selection of about fifty beers on tap. I pick one from the beer menu. (Yes, they have a menu just for beer!) The bartender has to look around to find where is the tap for that beer. As we are sipping our beers and talking, I look around at the décor. There are lots of pipes going everywhere. They are supposed to give you the impression that they are the pipes carrying the beers to the taps, but most of them are just cosmetic. Still ⦠interesting. Our Holy Shiitake pizza arrives. Its steaming hot, and it looks beautiful. Even though I'm an experienced New Jersey pizza-eater, rather than risking burning my mouth on gooey melted mozzarella, I ask for a knife and fork. I cut off a bite-sized piece and taste it. Pretty good! The toppings are great, but the crust is soft and chewy ⦠not crispy like what you would get at that real Italian pizzeria on the next block. Still ⦠enjoyable in its own way. The medium pizza was just the right size. Three big slices for each of us. Prices were a little on the high side, but not outrageous. But the real question is ⦠would I come back? I think yes, but maybe next time I would try one of the non-Italian items on their very extensive menu.

When my boyfriend and I started dating, this was probably the first or second place we went together. Definitely our first pizza place. I love it and the staff is amazing. Whenever I'm in the area I always come here and grab a slice. Haven't tried the dining room yet but look forward to doing so!

Came here for dinner on a Saturday night with a large group of friends and the food and service was GREAT! You got to try the garlic boli knots appetizer along with the sweet chili calamari appetizers! The garlic boli knots come with a tomato dipping sauce that just adds another yummy element to this appetizer. They were both so good that you could almost make a meal with them. I ordered the chicken francaise which was very tasty and had a perfect portion with just the right amount of sauce . Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. See various pictures below. Our waitress was also very accommodating with our large group. She was very attentive and kept making sure our dinner was perfect. (You donât get that every where) Itâs a great place that you got to try if you are in the mood for Italian. Lastly, donât forget to bring your favorite beverage as they are BYOB.
