Had lunch with my wife and 2 friends on my first visit yesterday. The ambiance is great, the food outstanding and we enjoyed really good service. Quality ingredients and ample quantities in our starters, main courses and desserts were served to all 4 of us. We most definitely will return and highly recommend this lovely riverside restaurant. A particular thank you to Jessica in serving us.Thank you for your great review, high rating and recommending us. We are very proud of our team and appreciate your compliments to our lovely Jessica. Looking forward to welcoming you again soon!

Had dinner here last Saturday with my Wife, I had one of the best Sea Food Risotto, sthat I have had anywhere ! My Wife had an excellent Pizza. The Service we received was excellent, but we had booked a table.Sadly I found the comments of a previous review extremely disappointing and frankly extremely rude. To comment about Sonya,s voice ! That Lady was busy all evening we were very well looked after !Thank youGrazie Peter. Thank you for your lovely review and comments. We hope to welcome you and your wife back very soon.

Our dough is hand-made from scratch and left to ferment for 3 days producing a light but slightly chewy, yummy, sourdough base. We use the finest 00 flour imported directly from renowned Italian Millers Selezione Casillo, along with Premium grade Olive Oi
Had a delicious lunch, really cool to see that so many of the ingredients being used were locally sourced. We had a pizza, a side salad and the charcuterie board. The pizza dough was epic, lovely balance of flavours, the quality of the tomatoes used in the sauce abd the Somerset mozzarella shone. The charcuterie was exceptionally good. The boar salami was epic. My only tint criticism was the cheese, although tasty didnât fit perfectly with the meats - its only personal taste but I would have rather had some more mozzarella as opposed to the double Gloucester! The coffee was great, the ice cream in the affegato was exceptional. The waitress who served us was attentive and super polite and it was lovely to sit inside/outside in the covered alfresco dining space. We had a wonderful late lunch and would definitely return.

We are a family run traditional Italian restaurant in the heart of Monmouth.
Wednesday 16th October 2019. Dinner for 2. We arrived without booking and were surprised to find most tables taken; it's a popular place, and no wonder on the basis of our visit. The atmosphere is warm and friendly as is the service. Decent food too with a feeling that much is home cooked. Reasonable value. All in all a very pleasant night out. Recommended.
