We went for lunch and had pasta. The side order of Pizza bread arrived and it reminded me of the scene in Charlie's angels when Lucy Liu threw a scone at someone and it damaged the door. This bread was rock hard and the waitress insisted it was fresh. Maybe we looked too Asian. The pasta meditterraneo with Rucola and cherry tomatoes can recommend and they had also minced garlic and minced chilli as sauces in addition. So it was a mixed bag of experiences and I really resent being taken for a ride, a fool or both.

It's takes forever until the food is served:(The pizza is ok. Not enough cheese for us.. the desserts are good. Too expensive for what you get

We went to Kenzingen with a group of friends and ate at this restaurant a couple of times. The food is good, reasonable price, good service and very kind staff. The portions are large and the pasta with vegetables was our favourite.

Forgive me, German people, but you - in general - cannot make pizza. I can hear the howls of derision as I type! But it's true. German pizza is some quasi, maybe American, maybe Italian disappointment. HOWEVER, at the Adler in Wasser - just outside of Emmendingen - one can find really very good, stone-fired pizza with all the usual (European) toppings, and cheap. By cheap I mean Euro 5 and up to no more than about Euro 8.50. And it's a good size. The take-out is prompt (a 10 minutes wait) and friendly (order at the counter just as you walk in to the Gasthaus). I can't speak for the food served within but I suspect it's good as well. Not an extensive menu but again all the usual Italian salads, pastas and pizzas one would expect in a small and somewhat out-of-the-way place. I've had some truly mediocre pizza in Germany but this is really good pizza, and affordable.

Very nice place , very good and friendly service and of course very good pizza's , pasta's and seafood dishes ! The other dishes on the menu we didn't have but my guess is they're as good as the ones we had.

Gestern waren wir mit 4 Erwachsenen und einem Kind hier Essen. Die Gaststätte heiÃt aber nicht mehr Kegelstüble, sondern einfach nur Nimburger Stüble. Es war Sonntag Abend und wir hatten zum Glück reserviert, sonst hätten wir keinen Platz bekommen.Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett, motiviert und hilfsbereit. Die Speisen werden frisch zubereiter. Ich habe Tomatensuppe gegessen, ebenso vom Salat. Beides war sehr gut. Mein Hauptgericht waren die Lachsnudeln mit SahnesoÃe - Nr 96, ebenfalls sehr lecker und genau richtig portioniert. Dieses Gericht wird mit echtem Lachs serviert, nicht mit Kunstlachs.Ein kleiner weiÃer Hund namens Bruno trägt zur Belustigung der Gäste bei. Ein ganz Lieber, der die Gäste freudig begrüÃt.Leider muà ich einen Punkt abziehen, denn die Erwachsenen bekommen nach dem Essen einen kleinen Schnaps, die Kinder einen Lutscher und Leute die keinen Alkohol trinken ( so wie ich ) gehen leer aus. Bezahlen kann man leider nur bar, mit Bankkarte geht es nicht. Also wer dort Essen geht, unbedingt entsprechend Bargeld mitnehmen.

Sitting outside in street, next to the fountain and by the stream, gives an automatic dolce vita feeling. On sunny days and evenings it is usually full, so a reservation is a good idea. The Pissa tend to overfill the large plate with a tasty thin crispy dough and a gernerous filling, and not overloaded with cheese. This is not a place to come to for a rushed meal, both lunch and evening takes time allow 90minutes.

Bei fast jedem Aufenthalt in der Gegend gehen wir zu Lino in den Ochsen essen. Egal was man bestellt, es schmeckt immer gut und man wird satt. Es erwartet einen eine gute Auswahl an Pizzen und anderen italienischen Gerichten, sehr nette Wirtsleute und ein gemütlicher Abend.

Rather little place Inside (couple of tables) but massive courtyard where you'll be pleased by laid back atmosphere and excellent Italian food even though served a bit too slowly (> 1 hour), probably because of high number of attendees that night.
