iâve been a fan of godfathers for decades. Finding this place was a godsend. All food is always fresh. Pizzas are always correctly prepared. Everything is very tasty. people behind the counter are very attentive, helpful, friendly. The place is always packed with families with children.Iâve been here four times since I discovered it.

Joined a group of about 20 in the group room. Room was rather spartan in its design. Concrete floors, exposed block walls, and open web steel joists. They did however have some 2x8âs suspended from the roof structure to create an Italian âatmosphere.â LolWe had buffet service. The trays were well stocked and everything was fairly tasty. My wife and I had soda while most others had wine and beer. Apparently alcohol reorders get a greater frequency than those drinking water and soda. Of course my hat is off to management as they had only one young lady serving our group. She did what she could with what her management provided. On to the next quasi authentic Italian restaurant.

I wanted to come back and review Neighborhood again because we had received bad service on our last visit and they seem to have corrected the problems that led to our bad service. On our weeknight visit over the summer (July), the staff was very young and there seemed to be a lack of leadership in pushing out food and keeping things moving the way a restaurant should. In my review I reported that the food was great but that the staff issues in the evening would likely result in me only eating there for lunch (when the owner is there and we have never had a problem). Between July and September they seem to have addressed the staffing issues in the kitchen and added a leadership position that made everything move much more smoothly on our recent evening visit. I have always loved the food at Neighborhood and I am glad the evening staff are focused again.

Ate here for dinner one night as a last minute decision, then ended up having a business lunch two days later. Got pizza both times which as good. The cauliflower crust is a little smaller and a thin crust. I prefer the regular crust, but both are good. Got the avocado fries the first time and was surprised the fried avocado wasnât mushy. They were good and the sauce was good as well. The second visit we got the cheese curds and the batter almost melts in your mouth. Probably the best curds Iâve ever had. Didnât have time to try the bar menu, but it seemed to be pretty large and they were rocking it out. We had good service both times and will be back to try it again.

I've never been to an Italian buffet so hubby and I finally happened to be in town around lunch time and tried this place out. I loved the food available and was able to try things I would never order normally off a menu. Staff was friendly and attentive. The only negative is that the seating along the back wall is kind of awkward so maybe try to avoid that area if you are able.

When they first opened a few years ago I was not impressed. Today I decided to give it another try and was I surprised! Remodeling has much improved the atmosphere, a bar with local craft beer, homemade crust, plentiful toppings, reasonable prices. This is as close to New York pizza as you'll find in the Midwest.

Husband and I split the small size (which was more than we could eat) into a half-and-half as we like different toppings. Both sides were loaded with toppings and were excellent. We ordered the extra crispy crust although the center appeared to be "normal" thin. All in all, very good and a place we'd return.We arrived around 5:30 PM on a Saturday and were seated immediately. By the time we left (about an hour later), it was full. Service was excellent.

I grew up going to get pizza at places like Pizza House...fun, loud, family friendly pizza! Pizza House is a local favorite which we discovered on trips to Springfield where our daughter attends college. The service is quick and the pizza is delicious. No frills but there is always a line because it is a great place to have pizza!

Three of us had lunch here on Saturday. We had the chicken white pizza, meat lover pizza and cranberry, walnut salad. Everything was delicious! The small salad was perfect for two of us to share along with our pizzas. The pizza and salad were loaded with toppings and cooked perfectly. Service was spot on from ordering to refills we felt that we had terrific service. They have a great selection of beers on tap. The only thing that would improve this location is a deep cleaning and painting to make it feel fresher.

First time dining at Pappos. My server, Destiny, was top notch! She knew all about the beers on the extensive line-up and suggested the meaty pizza, which was delicious. She was excellent, providing superior customer service! Be sure to ask for her. The restaurant was ambient and inviting. A great menu! Very pleased with everything and I will be a repeat customer.
