Our Heliconia restaurant presents international cuisine infused with local flavours. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Heliconia offers a sunny bright atmosphere by day and a romantic personality during the evening.
We were nine keen diners. We'd heard that the pepper steak was great and the three who chose this dish were very happy. The burger chosen by another went down very as did the modified margarita pizza. My mixed grill was pretty good. The steak was very tender & tasty, not so the lamb chop. Others report that the chicken lemon parmesan dish was just OK. We loved the absolute beach front setting and being entertained by a couple of young, very talented, enthusiastic musicians while the beer and wine added to the evening. Overall, we enjoyed the experience.

Having patronised JB's last year, I was keen to see if the standard was still the same. The menu is still predominantly Indonesian and Balinese, with a small selection of Western meals and a range of pizzas. While the atmosphere is nothing to write home about, the food is honest and very reasonably priced, ranging from Rp 17 500 to Rp 47 000. The smallest of a group of 4 warungs side by side, JB's staff are friendly, the beer is cold and they offer complimentary garlic bread. Owner Suri is responsible for the homemade desserts and you should really try Death by Chocolate from the menu.

Opening in Jan 2014 our Restaurant and Homestay serves up delicious Indonesian and International food in a peaceful seaside setting looking out of the Java Sea. Our owner is a local Balinese Chef who lived, trained and developed his craft as a head chef i
We stayed at the Air Sunny Homestay, and I've left the goods parts to others to write about because the bad ruined the stay and we were thankful we'd only paid for the one day. There are 2 dogs, one large, one small, that free-roam. They followed us to our room, and when we entered, the small one snuck in between my legs. Words were useless, so a few whacks with a pillow and it went out.Later we went for a walk and the large one followed, everywhere. My wife has what many would call a phobia, but based on a prior attack she is scared of dogs, and its close attention, even with us continually changing sides so I was between her and the dog, resulted in her becoming increasingly agitated and drenched with sweat. Then to dinner, and the dogs were there, sniffing and licking around, lying under our table. To sleep, only to be woken at 10:40 by loud, nearby barking. I opened the door, and both were on the doorstep. The small one again tried to enter, but I blocked him this time.11:25, woken by dogs; 12:25 ditto, 1:10 ditto; in all cases yelling at them shut them up for a while. The dogs "slept" on the guest sofa and dining chairs within metres of our room. At 3:15am they put up a real performance and when I came out, headed off into the distance. When we got up, they were back, one on a dining chair and one on the mat outside the next room's door.I went for another walk, without my wife, and the big dog tracked me all the way, again. The staff said they belonged to the owner, but she was away, so they had no control and no option but to allow them to make our stay the most unpleasant I ever had. Even our driver, a Balinese man well used to Bali's dogs said he only got a few hours sleep. So sorry you did not have a peaceful night at Air Sunny. We do apologise about our dogs being too friendly for your liking.

Gourmet New York style thin crust pizza, handmade pasta. All made from scratch in our kitchen. No MSG, no artificial coloring. Vegetarian, vegan-friendly and gluten-free upon request.
We found this warung by chance and were absolutely surprised. Modern Restaurant and atmosphere and very friendly stuff! Furthermore the food was very tasty there and I think one should try the Garlic Knots if you're around ;)
Visitors to Bali sometimes knock the efforts made by the locals to please the tourists. Sure some pizzas could be used as Frisbees to play on the beach with and some could be used as small bicycle wheels. Capri Pizzeria recreates the taste and feel and look of top Italian Pizzas. You cannot fault the crust, whether you like thin or thick, and the toppings are full of flavour and lots of them. Please do not miss Capri, your tastebuds will hate you forever. We will be back in June next year without fail.

Looking a great place to watch the sunset, great food and drinks, calm beaches and quite relaxing atmosphere in the night. Stop searching, just come and choose your seat at our restaurant and enjoy your day
If you are ever in Lovina and want so sit directly on the beach and watch the sunset with just about nothing but the waves coming in to experience a complete calm, this is the place for you! Take a place n a beanbag with your feet planted in the sand, get that cold beer in your hand and just let your mind wander and relax. The staff is very friendly and the kitchen is open for your viewing if you like.

Had a pizza and a pasta, and garlic knots for starters. All very decent. Also bought some frozen pizzaâs that made a great lunch at home next day Ambiance and decoration could use an upgrade and some attention to detail.
