Discover Restaurants offering the best Pizza food in Siena, Province of Siena, Italy. This Tuscan hill town will transport you back to the Middle Ages. Siena's grand cathedral, built in the 1200s, has treasured artworks and marvelous marble floors. The Piazza del Campo, the main town square, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's also home to the Palio, perhaps the most infamous horserace in the world. No goofy hats and mint juleps here—this is a medieval tradition involving bareback riders racing on cobblestones (so as you might imagine, it's quite dangerous). Siena is an easy daytrip by train from Florence, just 43 miles away.

Chiuso per ferie dal 17.11.2016 al 10.12.2016
My wife and our three daughters have just had a fantastic dinner at Il Locale Di Guido. My wife and I shared a 1kg Fiorentina Steak, 2 daughters had Filet Steak and the little one had local pasta. We had a small bottle of wine and desserts. Everything was excellent. The service was great too. The entrance to the restaurant is a little peculiar but the dining area itself is lovely. We highly recommend.

Another happy accident. We were just walking by, but the fragrant aroma drew us in. For 2⬠a slice, how could we go wrong? So we asked to share a single slice with fresh rocket and bufalo mozzarella. Amazing taste and perfect crust! So we asked Pietro for another slice from a different kind of pizza. Just as good!Nice to meet you, we are very happy to read your reviews, hoping to see you in the states...a dream.

A very charming restaurant in Via dei Rossi in Siena, not too much far away from San Francesco and Madonna di Provenzano. I had brunch with family on Sunday morning. Very good salami and prosciutto , excellent tomatoes and fist-class pecorino di Pienza. Very recommended for lunch while visiting the historical and tangled Senese alleys.Guido Sala, Lecco.

Small and cozy pizzeria, tavern in the heart of Siena. You can taste, for lunch and dinner our pizzas and typical Tuscan dishes. In our tavern you do not pay your covered!
Went here at lunchtime - first thing is this is not a glitzy pizza restaurant but more an old fashioned Italian streetside ostereia. The staff were outstandingly pleasant and helpful and the surroundings convivial and typical Italian. The food (we shared a quatro staggione pizza and salad) was lovely - the pizza was the thin crust variety and cooked perfectly and ranked up with best I have had anywhere in Italy. The beer was cold and the service was excellent. In all a lovely place for lunch and we would happily visit again. Oh and the price - 23 euros for a pizza, salad and 2 large beers.

Hands down the best pizza we've ever had by a long shot. Seems like non- locals have a bit of trouble with the ordering process, some not realising they're delivery only. We managed to order a vege pizza and friareili and sausage pizza in broken Italian with help from Google translate (it wasn't too much trouble as the guy's English was miles better than our pathetic Italian). We devoured both sitting on our hotel bed and thought we'd gone straight to heaven. The distinctive flavour of the friareili and sourdough-like texture of the base was just sublime. On our last night in Siena we called again to place another order but this time unfortunately were advised they were busy until 10pm! Their service is definitely inconsistent but it's worth the effort if you can get to try it. It literally redefined the meaning of pizza for us.

This is a fun place with a great vibe, delicious pizza and good vino! My pizza was loaded with pancetta and my husband's with salami-there are also veggie options! The owners are friendly, it's a small hole in the wall but good spot to stop for a bite.

Pizza was acceptable, salad as well but far too big! Service very slow, toilet you wouldn't go ever and finally we got the wrong check after asking 3 times. There are many other typical Pizzerias in this very nice city but definitely not the favorite!
