Nice and typical Italian restaurant, a bit outside the tourist routes in Santa Maria degli Angeli, but full of local people (which is always promising!) We had good food, only the pizza was a bit too thin for my taste.

Vado spesso al Bo Bar dal grande Massimo!!! Ottima scelta di birra e di qualsiasi tipo di bevuta ognuno desideri dagli analcolici ai cocktail!!!Per non parlare poi della buonissima cucina: humberger, pizza e piadina... Ottimi anche i piatti più particolari come la costata di carne o le costolette (le mie preferite)!!!Locale sempre ben pulito e molto accogliente sia per l'inverno che per l'estate!!!

This is the second review that i have written for trip advisor and i must say that i travel alot so when i do write is is either really going to be good or going to be really bad. This restaurant is really good...........the staff are courteous, the place is rocking and the food is genuine, local and inexpensive for what you get....my husband and i asked a local shop keeper where to eat in Santa Maria degli Angeli as we had eaten in just about every other Trattoria and he told me to head to the Tavola Rotonda. I eat gluten free so had green vegetables to start, my husband had local strangozzi with mushrooms and bacon, i then had the biggest mixed grill i have ever eaten out, we had stuffed artichoke, mushrooms and salad - my husband had locally butchered sausages (4 on a plate) He had desert, i was offered cheese free of charge and we had great local wine - recommended by the restuarant so we went to the Cantina the day after and bouth 40 litres at an amazing euro 1.45 per litre (Cantina Bettona). We had desert wine and in total after having waddled out of the restaurant, had only paid 50 euros for the whole experience. Listen guys, this restaurant is local, hidden but ask in Santa Maria as everyone knows it - you can eat pizza, pasta or just meat and vegetables, the dines are happy, it is full of locals and tourists and they are all treated exceptionally well - the service is fast, food is tastey and abundant and you can spend as little or as much as you like but would be hard pushed to spend more than 50 euros tops!!I will definitely return - recommend it to all my friends and thank The Staff at the Tavola Rotonda for their kindness - 10 out of 10, not for the quality necessarily but for the whole experience - it is well worth the visit, you will not be disappointed!!Buona apettitoX

We stayed at hotel Bellavista, so on our first bight, we tried the restaurant. We were surprised at the quality of the food and the popularity of this restaurant with the locals. DUring the week, all tables were taken, even though the restaurant is large. Large groups of Italians were having birthday parties or just a family dinner outing. Also young couples, 4 grannies and families were dining here. We ordered fish which was delicious, Porions were generous and local wine was cheap. After this first night, we had dinner here the following 2 nights. We tried several different dishes: meat, fish, pizza. Every night the food was delicious, the service very good and the atmosphere relaxed. Not fine dining, but excellent, geniuine Italian food and service! The price was right, which isi why so many locals go here. .

This is a regular stopping point for us when in Santa Maria degli Angeli, we know we will get good simple food that is fresh, tasty and at a great price.We visited 4 times this year for an evening meal and were never let down re the food.The first night we had a pizza each, being veggie I asked for one to be made to my spec. No problem, it arrived minutes later exactly as ordered, my wife had a "standard" pizza, delicious.Over the various visits we had more pizza, pasta and pork for the mains with fresh pineapple or panna cotta as a desert all were delicious.The wines are good and extremely well priced, a bottle no more that 10 Euros, the beer is not bad either.Francesco is the waiter and he will advise what is good to eat and drink. He has been there for ever, all the locals know him and each year he welcomes us warmly and even remembers my Grappa with coffee after the meal without asking.One point to consider is Friday,Saturday and Sunday nights are very busy so book.If you want a great local experience with good food don't miss this place, the food is great and the prices are very reasonable. 50 Euros for 2 courses, wine, water,grappa and coffee.

Good selection of classical italian pizza. We got our food very fast and had a delicious bottle of wine from a local winery just outside of town for the small price of 10 euro. The waiter was very sweet and the food (and wine) very tasty. It's nothing fancy/romantic, but it turned out to be a really nice place to have a lovely family dinner.

The pizza here is so good! Our family of 5 tried 4 different pizzas - fave was the spicy salami. The service was friendly and quick and the prices were so, so reasonable. Definitely can't get pizza this tasty for this price back home.

Lunch was priced reasonably and was delicious. Service was excellent. They gave a gift to the ladies. It's an excellent restaurant to eat at while waiting for the train.
