Good food and wine in a welcoming and unique location.
We ate in a number of restaurants in Casciana Terme but this was the best for simple good value pasta. We ate here 3 times. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The menu was simple, hand-written and delicious. We had pasta, fillet steak and salads and all were good. Pasta was 5 or 6 euro and the steak was 10 euro. A litre of house wine was 6 euro and very acceptable.

The historical authenticity of the Busti Family and the experience of the Chef Leonardo Biasci join together in the shared love for good plain things. A restaurant that is really new, not only because it has been recently opened, but also because it origi
We spent a nice evening here with our family. The cheese and meat antipasti was very delicate presented and tasted great. The pasta and the bread were delicious. The kids had proper pizza made in the brick oven. Wine tips from the waiter were also very good. A little strange that this restaurant - which filled up with people over the evening- showed music videos from the 80's on a big screen. But don't let that stop you from going. High quality food- nice staff and very family friendly Thank you for your comment. Iâm sorry for the tv program, usually we show the Remo Busty documentary (the founder of Caseificio Busti) or a video of the dairy during the production.Thank you,

There is little to fault at this restaurant near Casciana Therme. Service is friendly and good, and it is a good family friendly restaurant, opening at 5pm, which is helpful if you have younger children. The pizzas are excellent, as are also the non pizza dishes. The restaurant offers very good value food and drinks. We visited this restaurant on a several occasions during our holiday, as we were so impressed.

Coming to La Moriccia was almost an adventure - there is a road and we made it without a 4x4, but the potholed, rollercoaster-like way is exhausting anyway. But for us it was very well worth the effort. Everything was fresh made, without any convenience food used, and I've never eaten a larger entrecote. The ambiance is nice, the rooms and restrooms are freshly renovated, and if you have more luck with the weather and can hae the view, it my be even more gorgeous. The team is very nice, and competent on a level that is very fine for an agriturismo. The pricing is average among other Agriturismi, but very fine given the quality level.

The hotel itself is very average and its better to stay at their apartments - You have nice view and terrace for chilling in the evening. Good swimming pool. But the biggest advantages are: the food and staff - especially Sergio who is like Your uncle. The food is very simple and traditional but really perfect in taste. I tried the best steak and the best pasta a porcini in my life. The place is just a must visit.

We ate here twice during a holiday in Tuscany. The first time there was a set menu at an excellent price which included local specialties such as pasta with wild boar sauce and rabbit. The second time we chose à la carte and thoroughly enjoyed very interesting dishes such as duck in a chocolate and pine nut sauce and steak with different original sauces. Good prices and excellent service. We sat outside as it was August, but the interior looks great.

We went to this restaurant after the recommendation of a friend. Since we happened to drive by along the via Emilia, we decided to make a detour and go to Santa Luce and have dinner. This is a typical Tuscan trattoria run by a family, father and son in the kitchen, mom and daughter welcoming and serving clients. The menu includes both country ("terra") and sea ("mare) food, with things like wild boar and other game, the classic T bone beef steak, as well as sword-fish, muscles, and other type of fish and seafood, everything fresh and good. Their specialty are the ravioli alla Gino e Gina with shrimps and arugula. The appetizers are typical Tuscan, like chicken liver paté, as well as vegetarian crostini. On our second visit, just two days later, we had pizza: thin and crispy, in a brick oven of course. The prices are truly reasonable. The wine list is not huge, but decent, and the house wine, both red and white, is excellent. I would say desserts are their weakest point, because they are limited and not outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I used this restaurant several times for Pasta, Fish, Seafood and Pizza. Pizza is good and grilled fish or other grilled item is a good choice. Pasta is average considering you are in Italy and you can have much better options in other places.Location is very nice. In that area this restaurant is the best option, if you do not want to travel to other city. Also good if you are in a hurry - they can make a pizza in less than 15 minutes (even 10 minutes if not crowded).

Consiglio vivamente.
