As a frequent out of country traveler, I sometimes crave a taste of home. Even though I don't eat Burger King or McDonalds while in the states, I still will stop by why on the road. Sometimes, it is simply because I know certain sanitation practices will be followed. There are no "fast food" places in Belize. Until now. Sargent Peppers is like walking into any fast food place in anytown USA. It is bright, clean and the sanitary practices are correct. The bathroom has hot water which is rare in Belize. I asked about the water and it is double filtered. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with a soda and fries. Was not the best I ever had but not bad either. The soda was huge. Fries a little small. Came out to $6.30 USD which is cheaper than a comparable meal in the states. Will come back next trip and try the breakfast.Very friendly staff.

Think church decor meets Italian villa and Zen garden. Personable owner from Sicily who runs the whole place and caters to his people. He built this place over a long time and still has phases under construction. Luigi is awesome conversationalist. Many expat from other countries come in and have great stories too. This is third world folks so for a place in that space its a great stay. Its an old world charmer with a Sicilian touch. Food is goodwith many ingredients made from scratch.

This place is a surprise. A small central stall offering generous slices of pizza loaded with roping for a very cheap price. A slice of the vegetarian will easily fill you up and it's delicious !
Is a newly opened restaurant serving its patrons exquisite local and foreign dishes with a homemade touch. Stemming from the days of Las Casitas (1980) and OB Entertainment (2002), Coze Grill now aims to carry on the legacy and continue serving its custom
Tucked away off the main road through Santa Famila Village, Coze Grill is a definite must if youâre visiting the Cayo District. The food and ambiance are excellent, and it give the feeling of being in a private home. I enjoyed the fried fish with cilantro rice, including a a Cho-Cho which was sort of like a stuffed green paper. Great flavor combos and everything was so fresh. I understand they have karioke on some evenings which surely must be a hoot. The family that operates the restaurant (see a few of them in the attached photo) is delightful and we enjoyed hanging with them well past our meal. Please note that this restaurant is currently opened only on weekends. Check it out â Iâm sure you wonât be disappointed!
