Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ ʒɑ̃ syʁ ʁiʃəljø]) is a city in eastern Montérégie in the Canadian province of Quebec, about 40 kilometres (25 mi) southeast of Montreal. It is situated on the west bank of the Richelieu River at the northernmost navigable point of Lake Champlain. The results of the 2011 Census stated that the city's population was 92,394; the number of residents was estimated at 94,636 in 2014.

Stopped here early afternoon for a quick lunch break. They have the classic hot dogs, burger and poutine at competitive prices. I had the all dress hot dogs trio for $7. This place also offers pizza and is licensed, beer is only $4.50. During my visit I noticed a few regulars who seem happy with the quality and price. From my perspective the food was ok, the main appeal is the price and probably at night the alcohol licence.Thanks for your review, although I hope your next visit will let you saying 'WOW' ! Please try are other items.

We visited for the advertised pizza buffet. There were few options for the buffet but the food was good. Save room for dessert, there is a ice cream sundae bar!

We needed a place close to our hotel the Holiday Inn Express. Being a franchise of a chain we are familiar with we thought it would be a good choice. And it was. The restaurant was quite busy and therefore noisy which is to be expected I guess. We had a medium pizza which was tasty and served our needs well. Service was a bit slow but then again they were busy.

On a whim, I dropped into Mario's after many recommendations from locals. I ordered all-dressed pizza & it was wow...lots of toppings & really good cheese. I like pizza that is juicy & that's what I got. Clean & tidy inside...basic menu but terrific pizza. I'll be back next week.

I visited on the recommendation of a friend and enjoyed the meal. There's a good selection of meals but I found the tables were too close together. I had a Stella draft and small Calabrese pizza for $20 and some change. Our waitress was helpful in allowing me to speak French and service was very good.

This is a very good pizzaria sometimes. We use to order all the time but something has changed. I think depending who is making the pizza has a lot to do with it. Sometimes there's lots of toppings and sometimes like last night it was pretty cheap and thin. Also, I think they put a new pizza oven on a chain due to volume. Personally I think it changes the pizza vs a real pizza oven. You have to ask if they have specials and they usually do but they will not volunteer the information. You will never have a bad pizza here but depending on the night, it will be heavily loaded or a cheapo pizza. There hot suba are pretty good too. Steve

We were celebrating my Nephew graduating the from the Canadian Armed Forces Leadership and Recruit School and needed a restaurant near by as he only had leave for a few hours. We found Pizza Richelieu and were not disappointed. They easily accommodated our group, gave us English menues as they noticed we did not speak French. The restaurant owner came by and spoke with us and gave us pizza recommendations. The pizzas are made in a wood burning oven and were amazing.

family supper with 7 people.ordered escargot which were tasty could have used a bit more cheese.duck risotto was lovely and rich. full of flavour. husband had steak with house made fries. said it was very good.the others had various pizza and all have good reviews.nice decor. slightly noisy. very good servicelots of free parking. very close to holiday inn.
