I was staying in the nearby Holiday Inn and prefer to dine away from hotels. I was seeing Miss Saigon later so wanted a relaxing and simple meal.This restaurant fitted these requirements very well, being just at the top of the hill above the theatre.It was great to watch the chef make my Quattro Stagioni pizza from fresh dough and ingredients and cooked in a proper wood fired oven.Switzerland is expensive to UK travellers but it was nice to see that the prices here were reasonable for the obvious quality of it's food offerings. The cost was 22 Fr. This is a 3.5 rating, but I can't split circles unfortunately. We walked here for dinner while staying at nearby hotel during our recent trip to Zurich. We sat outside and the outdoor space was comfortable. We had gnocchi with gorgonzola and a pasta dish with chicken after enjoying an appetizer of bruschetta. The food was good, as was the service. Prices seem a bit high, even by Zurich standards. This place is worth a try if you are in the area.

A colleague and I visited Al dente for dinner since our hotel was close. We were both happy with that decision.The service was very good. They were attentive, friendly and took care of us throughout the dinner service.The menu has enough food choices to satisfy a group of hungry folks. I had the tuna and my colleague a pasta dish. Although the tuna was a little different than I'm used to getting in the states, it was really good. My colleague thoroughly enjoyed his meal.They have a nice wine list with plenty of wines and prices to choose from so that is appreciated.The cost is not cheap but seemed in line given being in Zurich. I recommend Al dente to anyone craving quality Italian fare. Enjoy!

Stopped here for dinner on a hot 30-32 degree day. Absolutely stifling inside. After walking there, we were hot, and asked for tap water as a first request. Wanted to rehydrate, then enjoy the meal and drinks.Stunned to be informed that we could not have it unless we ordered wine.Subsequently, it became apparent that beer or other drinks were ok, as well, but even then, when we ordered drinks, tap water came in a carafe, and we were left with a choice of putting the ordered drinks in the single glass we had or the water?So, difficult to drink it anyway - this just left a bad taste. Never before been refused H20 way. Pizzas were ok, nothing spectacular, except the meat ones, which were literally swimming in grease. In the words of a eat almost anything teen - "I like a little grease, but I don't want to drink it"Nice to have choice of small or large portion, though price difference minimal for size difference. Those who ordered large couldn't finish - it was large.The small pasta was surprisingly very small - but reportedly very goodDecor was quite nice, and service quick and efficient.dont know how it compares to other restaraunts in the area - doesn't seem like there are many great choices, but were not impressed by this one ( after choosing it over another nearby pizza restaraunt based on reviews ( though it still may be better, didn't compare)

We found this little place by accident and were very happy we did. It has a good sized patio area and inside seating. I went once with a co-worker and again later by myself. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our drink order was promptly taken and the staff was very patient with some translation of the menu into English.I had the caprese salad and it was fresh with the right proportion of each ingredient. The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven and served hot. The pizzas really are big enough for two to share, but many were eating their own. It seemed there were mostly locals eating each time I was there and the place was busy both times.I sometimes travel through Zurich and have long layovers. I'll be going back here!

I would come here regularly if I lived with 30 km of this place!!! We found this place by accident while staying at Zurich Holiday Inn aiport. Chaming helpful staff bridged the language barrier. Ensalad mista nice &fresh. soup with a parmesan croutons was pronounced by my soup connoisseur wife as one of the best ever. We had a seafood rissoto that was delicious & big enough for two. My main was the BEST LASAGNE of my life!! We washed it done with an affordably tasty Chinati. They finshed the meal with a complemantry lemoncella. Total bill was CHF 110-120 an incredible bargin for Zurich and for this quality of food!! SEEK THIS RESTAURANT OUT!!!

Now everyone likes there pizzas differently however this pizza was absolutely fantastic, the crust was nice and thin and the toppings were delicious and fresh! We also had the bruschetta and tiramisu! Highly recommend this place if youâre keen for a large and quality meal!

One of the big pluses of this restaurant is the huge covered terrace, which is perfect for a nice evening meal in the summer months.As for the food, I wish I had opted for a pizza from the huge pizza selection on the menu, as the pork I had ordered turned out to be a bit dry, which wasn't exactly helped by the fact that I ordered fries with it, after being told that they didn't have any Roeschti. Everyone else in our party was satisfied with their meals, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was certainly very nice, so I guess I just made the wrong choice when ordering my meal.If I get another chance at going there, I will certainly give it another try.

This is the hotel restaurant in the Park Inn by Radisson, near the Zurich Airport. The Park Inn is a relatively "low end" Radisson property, so the quality of this restaurant was a surprise (a nice surprise) to us. Excellent pasta and pizza, with good service.
