The centerpiece of any Russo's restaurant is the 7,000lb coal fired oven. Only a toll like this can infuse pizza so completely and deliciously with the unique flavors of the pizzas toppings, and even the oven itself. Here at Russo's, we specialize in New
We visited Russo's for dinner during my last evening visiting Dallas over Thanksgiving weekend. This is not your typical pizza place, and as you walk in, you get a feeling of a much nicer Italian restaurant. This was a nice surprise! We opted for salads and calzones for dinner. They have a really nice selection of salads at this restaurant, and I had the Mediterranean which was very fresh and ample in the smaller size. All their salads come in both a small and large size, depending on whether you want to have an accompaniment or a salad for a meal. My vegetarian calzone was also ample and delicious, with a light crust (brick fired ovens at this location) and served with a nice side of marinara. We had learned about this restaurant from the nearby Hampton Inn, where I was staying during my visit, and it was highly recommended by them. The hotel had mentioned they also deliver, in the event you are staying in one of the nearby hotels off I-75 and Campbell Road in Richardson. The service was adequate that evening, but there only appeared to be one server supporting the entire restaurant during our time there. We really enjoyed our meal at Russo's and think you will too!

My wife and I eat lunch at lease twice a month at the restaurant. Prior to that, with our children we ate at the original location at Walnut and Shilo. We return because of the food, service, and atmosphere.

Ordered dinner for delivery online. Estimated delivery was 30-40 minutes. Was a full 8 minutes before a confirm email arrived. 50 minutes after I order I call and am told it is out for delivery. 15 minutes later (I live 5 minutes from the restaurant) I call again. This time the girl gets pissy with me...they are busy, lots of people are complaining, the driver didn't come straight to my house...I'm gonna just have to wait.10 minutes later I tell kiddo to get his shoes...I can't wait to feed him anymore. As we are walking out to the car the driver pulls up...1 hour and 20 minutes from when I clicked order.Food, of course, is barely above room temp. My cheesesteak roll is falling apart. My son's Stromboli is soggy. There are better places to eat with more respectful employees in Murphy. Pass on Venezia.

Weâve been regulars at Abocas for over ten years and highly recommend this little Italian restaurant in Richardson. The owner, Arthur, has invested his invested his life into developing Abocas and you will not be disappointed! We particularly recommend our favorite waitress, Maria. Also, Abocas has a big side room for large groups.

I took some out of town co-workers here for a casual dinner. It was a mostly good experience with a couple of exceptions I hope they correct. First of all, it is not a very big restaurant, despite the three levels. The first level has a typical restaurant feel, the third has a bar atmosphere, and the second I would only sit in if I had to. The second level mostly has a narrow bar to eat along a busy corridor. Service was friendly and accommodating. You sit yourself in the bar area, which makes it a great option when they are crowded, which they often are. Pizza was excellent, especially the crust. One of the pizzas we ordered was a special with Lockhart burnt ends. I love Lockhart's burnt ends so was excited to order that. It was tasty but their were so few tiny pieces of burnt ends that I felt like it was misrepresented. Otherwise the pizzas were excellent and I especially loved they did overload them with too much cheese. That allowed the crust and other ingredients to shine through. Their beer is always extra cold, which I like. One other thing I wish they would change was the odd strolling musician. It did not add anything. Tip: When the weather is nice the rooftop patio is a perfect option. Otherwise, I really like sitting in the bar. Hospitality Factor: Mixed. Front of the house was harried and unorganized. However, the wait staff in the bar was friendly, helpful and prompt. This is a great option when you are in the area.

Awesome pizza and salad place. Tried their eggplant, margarita and potato and garlic pizza. On salads, we had the color 8 and Greek salad and they an eggplant parmigiana. Shared with a family of 8 and we all had enough to eat. Great family place to hang out and eat.
