We are a small cafe/restaurant in the country, located in Biskupstungur, near Gullfoss and Geysir. We serve all kinds of pastries, along with soup and pizzas. We also offer coffee, cocoa, sodas and alcohol. We look forward to welcoming you to our cafe.
We stopped for a cup of coffee and hot chocolate and were treated to one of the best beverages in Iceland. There looked to be a group of locals enjoying lunch behind us - what a great place to spend a few minutes with such a view.
Domino's is the number one Pizza in Iceland and according to studies the best Pizza in Iceland. Today Domino's Pizza runs 25 stores in Iceland, 14 in ReykjavÃk, one in Gardabaer, Mosfellsbaer and two in Kópavogur, KeflavÃk and Hafnarfjördur. We are also l
This place is always hopping, but definitely on a Tuesday when a medium pizza is just 1000 kr (think, $7.99 deal in US). It's Domino's and it's good!

We spent the afternoon at the not-so-secret Secret Lagoon and stopped at Pizzavagninn before heading back to Reykjavik. The pizza was terrific and it was really nice to meet the family working the vagninn. I'm really glad we stopped to check it out.
We found ourselves here in need of a quick dinner as our son was tired and hungry. It is a roadside diner looks totally unassuming. The food on the other hand was superb. Pizza was as mentioned by others superb. Best was the mashed fish which he devoured in preference to the pizza. All washed down with a lovely ice cream. Great place. Not luxury but ticks all the right boxes!

Thrastalundur is a modern restaurant with a well-thought-out concept. Itâs located a short drive north of the town Selfoss and a 40-minute drive from ReykjavÃk. Itâs a perfect place to stop if you are travelling the Golden Circle. Thrastalundur restaurant
Decided to treat the wife to a nice breakfast on a long Easter weekend, their website says they open at 11 and offer a breakfast dish with eggs bacon and others that sounded great so we decided to make the 20 minute drive, arrived at 11:10 and the sign said it was closed, saw someone working inside so decided to stop in front of the door and walk up and see if it was open, door stayed closed so returned to the car, still saw someone working inside so I was surprised but we decided to leave, looked back when leaving the parking lot and saw the sign had changed to open so we turned back walked up as still the door did not open so I knocked and we saw the same person inside, after a while waiting she finally came and turned on the door so it would open. We were directed to some seats and handed some menus, we had read them online and wanted the breakfast dish so it was an easy decision, staff replied it was only available on the weekends, I replied that this was a weekend as it was a holiday though it was a Thursday as it was a part of Easter, the waitress said she would ask the chef and came back saying that it was not possible, only on Saturdays and Sundays but this was not mentioned on their website or the menus at the location either. After all this we decided to leave and the waitress could not care less, will never return.

Kaffi-Sel operates a family owned restaurant, accommodation called Efra-Sel hostel and a 18 hole golf course. At the restaurant we offer vegan options, gourmet pizzas and burgers, salads, desserts and more. Everyone is welcome!
âVegan friendlyâ! My teen daughter was thrilled to read those words on the cover of the menu, which had all vegan dishes clearly labeled. The menu includes interesting pizzas, burgers, salads and more in a very open, airy and comfortable restaurant associated with a golf course. Thereâs not much out in Fludir, so this find was a real gem. My burger was delicious - all food was fresh and brought promptly. The ownerâs teen son (?) always had a smile on his face when he came to our table. Professional and friendly staff rounded out this dining experience - dinner on a rainy Tuesday night. Thanks for brightening our evening!

Lovely restaurant and Cafe in Selfoss.
On our tour of Iceland, a friend and I stopped in here for some lunch. We both enjoyed our hamburger and chicken burger with fries. My friend especially enjoyed her cafe latte (served with a tiny square of chocolate). The service was prompt, setting enjoyable. Note for those with mobility limitations: the washroom is up a steep flight of stairs and not easy to navigate.

A camping site and a restaurant on the Geysir area between Gullfoss and Geysir that are the most visited places in Iceland and about 2 million visitors every year pass by.
I was staying at the nearby Geysir Hestar, and came after recommendations from them. After a long, cold day of hiking and sightseeing this really made my day, in the middle of nowhere in Iceland I certainly wasn't expecting to find a cool little Americana-style bar!Pizzas are amazing, that's all that needs saying. And just a nice place to sink a few cold glasses of Gull. Perfect spot for lunch en route or dinner if you're splitting the Golden Circle over two days.
