When you first walk into Mandriano's, you may think you are walking into a gallery or a high-end restaurant. This place is very well-designed, along with a children's play area!! Aside from the nice, simple decor, the food was fantastic. The menu was not very extensive, but the quality of the pizzas were awesome. It is a self-service restaurant, but the staff was very friendly. If you are getting a little tired of Japanese cuisine, this can be a nice, casual alternative!!It is not the easiest place to get to, but it is definitely worth a trip... especially if you are at Niseko Village. It is just one bus stop away. Oh... don't forget to stop by Milk Kobo after for some lovely ice cream!!!

Lava Lounge Pizza is a funky restaurant and bar located in Hirafu Niseko. Serving up gourmet pizza, ice cold beer and signature cocktails. Dine in, take out and fast free delivery is available.
Last year I passed on this place but thought that I would give it a try this time around. The staff was really nice. No complaints about anyone working there. The food there is pricey, but so is everything in Niseko Village. My crew ordered the chorizo jalapeno pizza with a couple of Sapporo Classic and it was the bomb. Super delicious. We wanted to order more, but the price was the issue. If you're in need of pizza after hitting up the slopes, I recommend getting a pie from the Lava Lounge, if you're willing to spend the money, that is...
Very nice izakaya. Good food, good drink and very good service. I stayed at Niseko Northern Resort and they have a pick-up and drop-off service.
