Our first evening in Portogruaro where we came across Antico Pozzo. We were shown a table upstairs and given a menu of extensive variety. The atmosphere was modern and inviting. Our charming waiter spoke a little English which matched perfectly with our limited 'dialetto veneto'. We ordered delicious pizza, mixed seafood and seafood spaghetti. Service was very quick. We sampled each other's dishes all of which were very flavoursome. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and dine here again.

Pausa pranzo in questo ristorante-pizzeria. Locale accogliente. Servizio "un po' lento" per chi ha fretta visto che serviva ai tavoli solo la titolare ma quanto servito merita un'attesa: porzioni abbondanti e gustose (primo con ragù d'anatra appena fatto) e di buona fattura. Il rapporto qualità /prezzo è decisamente buono e merita sicuramente di ritornarci. Molto cortese e preparata la titolare. Bravi

This quaint cafe is located slightly an hour or so away from Venice and has one of the best pizzas ever. The freshness of the ingredients can be tasted and there was hardly any oil. It was also rather light and the portions are generous. A must try!

Just try them: they have all what you may need for satisfying you appetite!!! I believe am not an easy person when it comes to good food, professional services, interior design, athmosphere but in Birimbao....where you can be served until late time.... am relaxed, always relaxed and even more relaxed when the bill arrives: they give you a lot in exchange of an honest price.

We were three families with kids (1, 2 and 5 year-olds). We were located in Marano Lagunare and it took us about 30 minutes to get to Portogruaro.The food is excellent. They only serve fish. The kids had delicious orecchietti con gamberi e zucchini. We had fritto misto, rombo (which was perfect), pizza. We ate there three times. The prices are fair. Thereâs no playgroud area but the atmosphere is great and everybody is kind. Book your table in advance, it might be crowded. We had one of the best tiramisu ever. Itâs on the way to Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet if you feel like shopping for one day!

I was a little apprehensive about this place, given that it was my 15 year old nieceâs choice and looked tired from the outside. The interior was spectacular and airy following a recent makeover, service was friendly and efficient and the food was very good. Between us, we enjoyed pizza, beef salad and fritto misto ( fried fish and seafood) with polenta. Prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is clearly popular with all ages.

well, what to say,a friendly family oriented pizza & restaurant in the outskirts of Portogruaro, in the Venetian province, there is a very warm welcoming atmosphere and the pizza is special, offering a different way and various options of pizza bases, which other than the classic one, offer a different new taste.Both the owners David and Pietro, are very friendly and very buzzing, and will always try to accommodate everyone's requests, even the more demanding.I sure recommend a visit for a delicious bite, and relaxing way of doing it!!!

This is one of my favourite pizza houses. Our mother lives in Portogruaro and every time we visit her we also have a pizza in this great place. It has a good and interesting atmosphere - Western style! The owners and waiters are very friendly and accommodating. The service is good, pizza has a thin base and is tops - reasonably priced too. My favourite combo is pizza à la diavola with a tall red beer. I am told that the steaks are excellent too. No problem in recommending this place. TIP: Watch out for the mosies if eating alfresco in August !
