Pizza is nice and prices are cheap (half the price you would pay on the sea front for pizza not as good as here). But not a good experience otherwise. We waited to be seated, then waited for a menu (perhaps more need to printed). We asked for additional bottles of water when they served the food- they never arrived. No air conditioning or fans inside, it was an extremely warm evening, so without water we were extremely thirsty eating our meals. The pizzas were nice, but overall experience was definitely lacking.

Ate here on the second night of our Stobrec stay. Weâd had a long hot day travelling into Split and this restaurant was only 3min walk from our apartment Sat outside with views of the mountains to enjoy. The pizzas took quite a long time to arrive so we ended up ordering olives and bread while we waited. Which was fine. When the pizzas did arrive we were all really pleased with our choices - shrimp for the children, anchovies for me and vegetable for my wife. They were delicious and big! We couldnât eat them all, probably because of the bread and olives ââï¸. But the waiter was great, he took what we had left and put it all in a take away box for us. We had the rest for lunch the next day

So much potential: incredible views, great location, and super super cute but subpar food and service.1. Ordered 2 grilled vegetable dishes (peppers and mushrooms), server didnât bother to tell us that pepper dish had mushrooms in it.2. Zero service. The wait was not too too bad, but not once were we asked if we wanted something to drink (we did) or an appetizer while we wait (we wouldnât have minded being told if there was anything special)3. Food was meh. Tossed on the plate with no real finesse. Greasy, uneven grilling, sloppy chopping and cuts.4. When I put my card in the holder the waiter had the audacity to ask me (twice) if I had read the note about how tip is not includedHard no on this one.

I'm regular guest in this pizzeria. I started going few years ago and I have never been there and ate a bad pizza!Its a bit old fashion pizzeria but its worth it.I recommend everyone jumbo pizza(you can choose a lot of different kind). Its usually for 4 persons but a lot of times there were just me and my friend and finished the whole pizza. Its very big and you have to be very hungry to do it.Anyway, best recommendations for everyone.

Iâve had food here twice, both times very nice! Iâve had, the mixed salad, the Greek salad, the mixed grill and the cheese ham burger (which is stuffed meat without bread buns). I also had the Nutella crepes both times, absolutely delicious. The meat is grilled on a big grill which leaves a delicious charred bbq flavor on the meat. The employees are all very kind. My partner and I like to share all our dishes and they always prepared on meals and places them on separate plates for us. This isnât fined dining food, itâs nice chill food!

It is a normal,italian restaurant, probably even below the average of the most of the italian restaurants you can find in any place around the World, and probably the only reason of the success it is inside the 5 star hotel, and then the prices are very high and they get many customers who are staying their vacations in the hotel.My suggestion is to choose other italian restaurant with more reasonable prices , if you are looking for an italian restaurant or a nearby restaurant like leonis, if what you are looking for it is a restaurant close to Le Meridien Lav hotel.Dear anonymustraveler111,thank you for sharing your feedback with us.Reading your feedback, I can only say that we are sorry that we didnât meet up with your expectations. So this isn't a restaurant, it's a fast food place, but it's great.They have the best chicken gryros I have ever tried. It's not like Turkish version, but in my opinion it's much better.They also have great cevapcici, and pizzas (but I haven't tried them so I can't say are they any good).

Me and my wife read in local newspaper that Basta pizza is excellent, so we decided to give it a shot, we were really astonished by pizzas we got, crust was exactly on spot, soft and thin, very rich with ingredients , actually its was best pizza that i have ever eaten, its a bit pricey place but considering location, and pizza quality its worth every dime spent. I will visit your place again, be sure!! regardsWe are happy you gave Basta a try and enjoyed the experience and our pizza.
