When you enter the place, particularly the back rooms you expect to see the Godfather and his capo having wine and enjoying the cuisine. I helped sponsor a business meeting there recently and everyone loved their food. All 30 or so of our group ordered from the menus and the dishes were all varied and delicious. I had the Alfredo and it was outstanding. The Wop salad was one of the best I have ever had. The service was very professional and attentive.

Best pizza in town. Carryout/pick-up or delivery. The staff who work at this restaurant are the BEST EVER! They are so pleasant and so accommodating and I prefer to pick up my pizza just to chat with them. Friendly service, fast and the pizzas are delicious and prepared with love and care. I like seeing that in action. Wish I could name them by name but am not sure that is good. Just know they are all nice and love their jobs their. That means they make a tasty pizza because they care about their customers, especially their repeat customers! Order ahead and pick it up in person!

Only saving grace to this little redneck one horse town. Nothing in this town is worth eating, but you can count on pizza.
Took the family out Friday night for what we hoped would be at least a "decent" experience at the local Pizza Hut here in Picayune. What we found amazed us, especially for a Pizza Hut as they have been around for decades and I've come to expect something greater than our meal was. The restaurant was fully staffed, overfilled if you will, which makes this all the more unbelievable. The restaurant is not very clean and has a dusky, musky feel to it. The women's restroom was filthy, according to my wife, and the salad bar was lacking some serious luster with its minimal items (so I didn't have a salad like I had wanted). This red-roof, as they've come to be known, looks like a really old throwback to a bad model that should have, if it hasn't already, been abandoned. It's hard to find seating without being in someone's way, the kitchen staff were on top of one another, and they need to do some intensive cleaning up of what the customer can see in the small "lobby" area where the register is. As I expected on a Friday night, they were busy at 6 pm when we showed up. Customers were stacked at the counter waiting on their to-go orders and the young man on the register had not one hint of urgency in him whatsoever, leaning his chin on his hand while addressing each customer in a lackadaisical manner as if contemplating what he will say to a 3-year-old. Checking out or picking up was a gruesomely time-consuming process that made me want to pull my hair out and I considered just walking out on the check since they obviously didn't want to take my money and my family waited on me for fifteen minutes to finish this ending to a horrible meal. But I am skipping forward in the story...Our waitress, name unknown since she wasn't wearing a name tag, was acceptable. She greeted and seated us with a smile, offering any table we would like, and commenced to take our order but this is where things get a bit wrinkly. Pizza Hut used to do things differently in all of my past experiences. There used to be family specials on the menu which included pizzas, breadsticks (or cheesesticks), salad bar visits and drinks. Those are gone now if this restaurant is any indication of the standard now. When asked about family specials the waitress offered us two large specialty pizzas for $19.99, which isn't a bad price so no objection there, but where is the family-friendly menu I have been used to for years? This is why we chose Pizza Hut to begin with! We ordered cheesesticks as an appetizer and what we got was exactly HALF of what I had been used to in the past. Yes, half an order of cheesesticks that were nowhere near the quality I used to enjoy from any Pizza Hut (I have been employed by Pizza Hut twice in my past so I was absolutely floored). Skimpy servings skimpily topped with cheese but at the same price. The pizzas came out in an acceptable time-frame (which I will address later) and were unceremoniously placed on the table and the waitress walked away, not even serving the first slices as I had come to expect from past Pizza Hut policy. The pizza quality was adequate, nothing special about it, and I do not believe they used the "sweet" sauce that used to be used on Pan pizzas in the past. All of these changes add up to what seems to be a larger profit-pushing agenda for Pizza Hut. I understand and accept inflation and the rising costs of doing business but cutting servings in half for the same price? Unacceptable.Back to my escape... I sent the family to the car to wait while I paid the bill and stood in line for fifteen minutes, witnessing the colossal failure of the team as they crawled over each other in the kitchen for all to see and there didn't seem to be anyone in charge at all. No management oversight in evidence whatsoever, and I'm usually quick to pick up on this particular point. I stood next to another customer who rolled his eyes at every faux pas of the cashier and everyone was able to see that there was just no concern for the fact that the "lobby" area was so full that the waitresses couldn't get back and forth without a concerted effort to dodge the crowd. I watched the customers in front of me ask for their to-go orders and one even asked if they could just deliver her food to her apartment around the corner since she didn't have time to wait on them (my pizza came out in good time but it may have been rushed since I was eating in, not sure). This process of changing her order to delivery took too long but the cashier seemed to take it in stride as if he was used to doing this seemingly familiar change. Not good. The cashier eventually found time for me and I scooted around the other customers, having lost my patience but not my temper, and taking my payment took much longer than necessary. I couldn't wait to get out of this madhouse. Apparently the manager has no respect for their own restaurant, leaving it in the hands of a less-than-capable crew on their busiest night of the week. I will not return to this location. Thorough disgust at the management here is what I walked out feeling. Not a good experience in the least.
