The town is commonly known as being the location of the Auschwitz concentration camp (less commonly known as KL or KZ Auschwitz Birkenau) during World War II when Poland was under the control of Nazi Germany.

Good pizza and beer... Tasty and cheap... Great location... Definitely will come back but I will order medium pizza instead of big - struggled to finish it... Many people from my company were dining here when travelled with business...For me all good...

I ate at this restaurant with my wife and a friend during a short visit to Oswiecim, and we were very impressed, so much so my friend came straight back the next day and ate there again. It appears this restaurant is quite new, as the image on Street View shows a different restaurant in the same location.This was our first time visiting Poland and so we wanted to try some of the local cuisine, and were not disappointed. Very tasty food, and large portions, and all for a great price. I ordered the spicy goulash soup as a starter, but it was huge and really filled me up...culd easily have done as a main course. I had pork chop (schnitzel) with mashed potatoes and fried cabbage for main course, but was too full to order desserts. I also enjoyed a local beer, which was very nice, and not too expensive for a restaurant.Service was friendly and they spoke pretty good English, which was a relief as we spoke no Polish. Very impressed with this restaurant and would happily recommend.

Located on the top floor of a generic shopping center, Hammurabi is conveniently located not far from the train station (about a 5 minute walk). It has the look of a standard restaurant chain, offering a varied menu. I had the chicken falafel, which was tasty and fresh. The service was average and Wifi is available.

Not HALAL! 11/06/2019I saw this place during my visit and always enjoy kebabs, tacos, Shawarma's (chawarma, shaurma, showarma) Doner kebab, al pastor, gyros. The name changes depending on the region. I got the #32, Tortilla wrap, chicken, fries, salad. It is large and very good. I had it twice, the fries are also good. I also ordered the BIG Daddy, two beef patties(medium rare), onions, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and had them add bacon. It was humongous, moist, juciey and delicious. It ground and aged beef. Seasoned well, heavy bun to handle the weight of the patties and ingredients. Having eaten hamburgers on 7 continents this burger is definitely in the top 7 on the planet. They have non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Keep up the great work.English menu is available.

Pretty good local, with nice staff, good food, very fair prices and good drinks. You can go there and just drink a beer or eat something. Very nice decor makes in good for couples and for friends meetings. There also is a hotel just in the adjacent building.

Local restaurante - yummy food- perfect prices- its nice and chill atmosphere - well know in town- its there over 20 years- there is a reason - for me best restaurant if You fancy a pizza or dessert(best in town) - reminde me restaurants in Italy:)

On our way from Auschwitz, we visited this restaurant on the recomendation of our tour guide. We were not dissapointed! The food is very good, the service was quick and the waitress was very polite and helpfull. Even the chef (owner) came out and greet us. They serve pizzas and traditional polish food. The prices are very reasonable. They left very good impression on us. Top score!

Love it! We accidentally found the restaurant. The house was beautiful from the outside, that I really wanted to eat there. First we ordered mozzarella bruschetta, then lasagna and Mediterranean pizza. We loved al of it. Very beautiful restaurant, nice stuff, great food. I highly recommend it!
