This seemingly ordinary pub serves faux-American fare such as hamburgers, hot dogs, fried foods, and the obligatory pizzas.Having tired of Italian food, I orded the Cheeseburger and fries. Surprisingly, the meat was extraordinary, the french fries were spectacular, and the burger was topped with cheese, lettuce, and tomato. The quality of ingredients were all good, particularly the tomato.Even though the waitress spoke no English, we had no trouble communicating with her in our broken Italian.FYI-- if you are starving at 7:00 pm, this is the only decent place that is open and serving decent grub. All of the other good places are closed, choosing to open at 8 pm, which is much too late for us!

The food was very good and plentiful. The service was friendly and spoke English which was great. The cost was reasonable - 2 full meals with leftovers for supper cost 40 Euros. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had dinner at the Villa Ciconia restaurant during our recent trip to Italy. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, we managed to get a table. The service was fast and friendly and in no time we had a nice glass of red wine in front of us. For dinner we decided to go with pasta & I'm glad we did. We had pasta with hare, as well as pasta with goose. Both were very tasty and cooked to perfection. For sides, we had a radicchio salad and grilled vegetables. We truly had a lovely meal!

Nicely decorated, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a reasonably good offer of italian food. It is well located, in front of the station, the staff is very friendly and provided us a nice memory of Orvieto. Very close to hotel Picchio, it is a nice combination for a short-visit.

We offer the true napolitan pizza in Orvieto. For further information about our menu reservation please contact us.
The pizzas really were excellent, and I cannot understand the previous review. Perfect dough, crispy semi-burnt base, well-kneaded dough the Neapolitan way. The special house margherita (DOP in the menu) was superb. And the house wine was lovely - fruity and light, and just right for a hot summer's day. For non-pizza eaters the octopus carpaccio and grilled prawns were equally fine. The service is idiosyncratic, to be sure, but the waitress rearranged tables to sit seven of us; she seemed abrupt at times, but could also be coaxed into a smile. This is a very simple place; the prices are keen, and the quality high. Be warned that it fills up quickly. I am not sure that they take bookings. Ge there shortly after opining time. They close when they say the close, so do not be too late either! No coffee!

We were ending a long trip and only wanted a light dinner after a large lunch. What could be better than a couple of pizze. One porcini mushroom, and one spicy sausage, along with a bottle of local wine.Great service. Great value.

We loved the fsct that large families with bambinos were there on a Sunday evening and were attracted to the carne alla brace. The appetizers were very nice and tasty. However our main meal of mixted grilled meats was disappointing. All cuts were sliced too thin snd overcooked. The hit was our contorni of stewed beans-fagiloli- which were very tasty. Il conto with local Garbana wine was reasonable under 70 euros for three people. Pasta was as l as good. We did not trt pizzas but it was popular with locals who were there.

Best Pizza ever!! Lovely relaxing lunch with fantastic service from the most beautiful lady whose English was not so good, but she could teach some others a few lessons in customer service. Thank you!!

We all had different pizza's and they were very well done, note: only order the anchovies one if you REALLY like them :-) fairly strong flavor, but excellent quality ingredients. Cool courtyard location, we were lucky and squeezed in without a reservation but you might want to consider it.

Spur of the moment, 2nd choice restaurant. Limited menu for lunch. Wonderful surprise offering from the chef. Not many starters to choose from. Primo piatto choice not available, so off menu umbrichelle with vodka, tomatoes, pancetta was super. Insalata Mista not available so subbed by arugula and little tomatoes. Received a discount on the bill. Does this really happed in Italy? A very nice restaurant but I do not think I can highly recommend it.
