Pizza Antica serves a flat wood fire baked pizza with multiple toppings. If you are hungry, this is not the place to go as you will likely eat a whole pizza yourself as they are not too large. The wood fire baking adds a lot to the taste and flavor along with the fresh ingredients.

Gather is a restaurant, café and organic bar with an outdoor patio in Downtown Berkeley. We serve seasonal farm food, sourced carefully and prepared thoughtfully, with a fairly priced menu for vegetarians and omnivores.Located in the David Brower Center, t
Took my son there and we were both duly impressed with the food and service. At 1pm on a Sunday, the place was bustling. We sat at the bar and ordered gem salad, pork belly, hamburger, eggs w/spinach. And pilsners to wash them down with. The gem salad was the best. We had to ask what kind of dressing because it was that good -- creme fraiche. Who would've thought? My son devoured the pork belly and hamburger. My son insisted that I taste the burger and it was perfectly done right (m-rare) and juicy good. I recommend. The eggs were done perfectly but couldn't finish because it was just too much food. The service was great as we received a lot of attention to and through. I highly advise reservations.

Brew Pub with oven fired pizza and a variety of other food
Late lunch as a family on a Saturday. Nice feel to the place especially outside. Good range of beers for an American restaurant/bar. Service is pretty good but food itself only very average. The Caesar Salad and the wedges were poor but the pizzas were good. So, OK just overall.
Zambonis is Orinda's best kept secret. Their Calzone is reminiscent of Berkeley's Zachary's deep dish pizza. Also ,sizes are generous and cost is reasonable. You can't go wrong. Our favorite is spinach mushroom.

This is a good restaurant for a hearty meal in a casual atmosphere. The burgers are great. I especially enjoy the clam pasta. The pizzas are popular as well. The menu offers lots of choices. This restaurant has been here for a long time and for good reason as they offer a consistently good value. We have eaten here many times. The decor can be described as eclectic.

We are here every week for slices to go. The pizza is terrific and the quality is high, never changing. But the reception and service is often cold and unwelcoming, and the prices keep inching higher and higher.

There are a lot of pizza choices in the Rockridge area, and this is the one that we keep coming back to for take away pizza. It's because the quality is very, very good. Service is sketchy. Some staff are nice, others rude. The prices keep edging up and up. But we like the quality.

When I go out for Italian I don't usually order pasta. At La Piazza I sat at the bar and watched the chefs prepare the meals. It was to tempting not to order the pasta. We were all very pleased. The Rigatoni with sausage was our favorite.

The Cheeseboard Collective has a winning strategy: make just one kind of vegetarian pizza every day (except Sunday and Monday), provide counter service only and offer it ready to eat or half-baked for heating up later. The dining area is smallish but airy and there's often live music. And, if Cheeseboard Pizza isn't open, you can buy the half-baked pizza at the Cheeseboard Bakery next door.

I had a medium pizza with double Kalamata olives. It's not easy to make a pizza that doesn't come out wet in the middle, and unfortunately they didn't make it happen. This pizza was a little wet in the middle. The olives were fresh tasting.I can't say I left disappointed, but I was not shocked and amazed.
