Almost a mismatch between the atmosphere and the food and service. Well, the food was outstanding on par with some of Oakvilleâs top restaurants and the service was even better. However the place although cozy and relaxed with an air of friendliness lacked some thing. I donât know maybe music or higher end furniture. Any how it is a great find right there in the middle of oakville downtown lakeshore area.

A group of us decided to go up for supper last night and one recommended Peppino's. It's safe to say that the rest of us (7) were accustomed to their regular pizza and we're all surprised to find out, you can step outside the box and build your own pizza. Many of us did and were thrilled with the results. 5 stars for originality & taste. All voted 5 stars.The restaurant was large and was packed. Good thing we had reservations. Our server was fantastic and happy to serve us even though she was run off her feet busy with our table and others. Congratulation to her for a job well done. The prices were reasonable and for us, lower than our regular pizza restaurant. All things considered, we will be back and possibly drop our regular pizza place.

Well as one of four people at lunch I would say opinions were mixed. My colleagues generally enjoyed their meals though my âSignature meatball sandwichâ was very bland and very messy. Had I picked it up guaranteed I would have been wearing it though the biggest disappointment was just a complete lack of flavour - the meatballs seemed to have been microwaved instead of browned in a pan and seasoning was definitely lacking. Service was friendly and prompt and my colleagues seemed satisfied so just beware what you order!

This is the best pizza I have tasted other than my Nonna's used to be and so far the only thing I've tried however, checking out the pasta and her sauce is on my list. I drive 15 minutes to pick up as they directly don't deliver but that's a small price to pay for the end result....pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.Small and very casual with a huge bar that takes up most of the interior space which is the only drawback.Thank you so much for your feedback. We are very happy that our pizza tasted good and we are sure that our pastas will taste good as well. If you are ever in the mood for dining in we have a beautiful dining room behind the bar (white table cloth included).Hope to see you soon! Justino's family

Having visited this restaurant on two different occasions with my wife, I thought it would useful for the ownership to consider - have your staff tell your clients their name at some point during the service. Overall service was quite friendly and attentive. Robert the host introduced himself upon arrival. Check. We had nice drinks (though limited drink menu) and our kale salad was lovely as a start. We also tried the Burratta mozzarella which was rich, but quite nice. The balsamic reduction needed a bit more tart to make it perfect. The mains were lovely. My wife had pasta and I had the whole fish on the first date and a lovely carne pizza the second time. Great atmosphere (it can be loud for a restaurant) and overall a good night out for a date. But to make it more personal, the server should say their name. It makes a difference. We shouldnât have to read it on the receipt to find out.

We would never have found this restaurant without being referred by friends. It is truly a "Hidden Gem" well worth a visit. it is located on a small plaza & is the major attraction in our minds. On arrival we were welcomed by a friendly server and went direct to the table to join our friends. We were not in a hurry and the staff recognized that as after serving our drinks, she went about serving others. It was busy but not packed and surprisingly quiet considering the number of customers. Our server was very friendly & efficient. The recommended plate was their thin crust pizza which was only available in 1 size which was ideal for sharing. It was delicious.After dinner we continued to relax and continue with our conversation. While some restaurants would try to deliver the bill too get you on your way, our server just checked with us from time to time.The pizza is excellent and was very inexpensive compared to other similar restaurants that we have enjoyed over the years. It looks like we have found a new favourite "GO TO" restuarant. Our evening was truly a perfect Social Experience.

We had made reservations an dhwne we got to the restaurant we were promptly given seats. Service was prompt and friendly. We also got a chance to say "Hllo" and chat a bit with one of the two owners. Food was very tasty

Well, I have given this restaurant numerous chances. I have tried numerous items on their menu, but i find their food has no seasoning or lacks flavor.. The last meal I had was Bay Scallops.... Well this meal had NO taste at all.. Very very pricey meal for what it was..everyone at the table tried it and said the same thing..This was their last chance...be careful what you order their..Our server was okay..

Wow - that reply from the restaurant is clearly anything but in accurate. Service was horrible....new waiter had no idea what he was doing, table was turned over to a more experienced waitress. Served my salad with no silver ware - waited 10 min - to get some, only to be informed that the table behind me was equipped with silverware, guess I could have searched around for fork and knife but whatever. Time between visits - painful to say the least, my beer(s) ran empty for long duration (all 2 of them), food was delivered .....nobody came by to check in afterwards to see how things were, or if maybe someone wanted another beer/drink. Made a simple complaint about our food and being cold, wasn't addressed with a smile, but drilled with insult and overall sense of 'yeah whatever' and encouraged to write a tripadvisor review.....well here you go x 2. There is way too many restaurants within a walk from this place to even re consider it. Had to give a dot for the review - but not deserved. Looking to spend your restaurant dollars where their appreciated....don't go hereAttention readers,This inappropriate review has been reported to authorities. We at Nino's do not tolerate this type of disrespectful behaviour. To have four adults gang up and attack our establishment for no reason, is disgusting.Sorry to everyone who had to read this.ThanksLucia
