If you visit Oak Ridge and don't stop by Big Ed's, your visit isn't complete. This place is an integral part of Oak Ridge history.Be prepared to wait on Friday and Saturday nights, and they are closed on Sunday. Weeknights can also be busy when local junior and high school activities are going on nearby.A simple menu of pizza with a nice selection of pizza toppings, beer and soft drinks. Very spartan environment, fairly dim and noisy when crowded, but the aroma is wonderful.Plastic plates have replaced the 6" paper plates that were used the first 40+ years of business. Red and white checkered tablecloths, hard wooden chairs and napkin dispensers make up the dining facility, with some seating on stools at the bar.All of the pizzas are made fresh, delivered to the table piping hot, and the wise eater knows to tread lightly and pause until the pizza cools slightly. Family friendly, a helpful local staff, and really good, fresh pizza toppings and hand tossed crusts make this place a legend! Loved by diners of all ages, and a great location for parties too.

In addition to a very reasonably-priced pizza buffet, I learned of a new dish that they offer. Crustless pizza! When you go through the buffet line, you can tell the staff if there is a particular type of pizza or a specific set of toppings you would enjoy. Well, you can also order a crustless pizza. The crustless pizza is the meat and vegetable toppings found on your favorite pizza, then mixed with the pizza sauce, topped with mozzarella cheese, and baked in the over just like a pizza. It comes out hot with melted cheese and cooked to perfection.A salad bar, pasta bar, and dessert pizzas round out the buffet offerings. They also sell individual pizzas to go, and they have private game rooms and dining rooms available to reserve for parties and group meetings.Pizza Inn also supports many community groups including church and civic groups allowed to wait tables and collect tips as well as a portion of the sales. Very kind and compassionate owners and staff.Did I mention how great the crustless pizza is? Awesome!

This is Carryout and Delivery ONLY, no dine-in facilities. I used the online ordering to utilize a 50% off special, and I selected the "Build Your Own" option. The pizza was ordered with a wide selection of meats and veggies, and every ingredient ordered was present on the pizzas. The toppings were generous and the rest of the pizza was made perfectly. It was ready on time and the staff was polite, cordial, and provided a handful of crushed chili pepper and parmesan cheese packets.
Famous for having hot and fresh pizzas available for carryout, the restaurant is carryout only. No dining room available. Call ahead and order your pizza, breadsticks, hot wings, etc. for pickup. You can also use their app, order and pay for you pizzas, and pick them up from their Pizza Portal without ever having to talk to anyone. Hot, fresh and ready to eat pizza in a matter of minutes.

I stopped in because I felt like pizza. Humm, pizza hut is usually good. Not this one! OMG! Absolutely no sauce on the pizza but they want to give you marinara sauce on the side. What is going on? How about pizza sauce dude? That was like the worst thing ever. I sure hope they don't do that anymore. I was so disgusted that I dumped the pizza and had a ice cream cone from McDonalds. What a waste!
