Reviews on Pizza food in Northern Portugal, Portugal. Brimming with both history and natural wonder, Northern Portugal is home to Porto, the city that gave the country its name, as well as the important ancient town of Braga. Also here is Peneda-Gerês, Portugal’s only national park, a gorgeous wilderness area of mountains, gorges, water features and wildlife. Many picturesque villages and manor houses dot the countryside. Two areas are UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Alto Douro Wine Region, and the Paleolithic rock art in the Côa Valley.

We were so pleased to find this restaurant. The pizzas are cooked in full view in a traditional pizza oven and they are absolutely delicious. Theyâre a good size too and the base and crust are perfect. Service is very friendly and efficient. I would not hesitate to return and can confidently recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates a good pizza.

Familiar Italian Restaurant...
On my last night in Porto I finally wanted to have some pasta. After searching for a while this place come out on top. While I didn't have any pasta, I did enjoy my meal here. Service was quick and the waiters were all very friendly. I ended up ordering the melanzane alla parmigiana (eggplant parmesan). Don't have any real remarks on it. Eggplant was done well, sauce tasted good. The only thing I found a bit disappointing is that they didn't serve any tiramisu. If you're looking for some taste food at a fair price, this is the place.Hi... Thank you for your feedback. Did you order any Tiramisu?? We have it and it's amazing... Try next time ;)

Our restaurant is located in front of the sea. Come and try our pizzas and dishes au gratin in the oven. With a magnificent terrace with a lovely view .
We visited Vila Mar Restaurant in July, during our holiday in Vila Nova de Gaia. The food is delicious, the service is great (very friendly staff) and the whole atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice. If you go there, it's must to try the Tiramisu with strawberries. You won't forget it! :)

Come to our house to try our proposals Pizzas, Saltimbocca, salted specialties or ..Tiramisù! Freshly prepared food, as in true Italian tradition.
We looked this place up and wandered to it from our apartment. Was a Sunday night, a few other couples in, great waiter service-efficient and helped us through the menu that was in Portugese. Great thin and huge pizza, lovely bottle of Italian white wine, all for just over 20 Euros. Not in heart of town but worth finding.
