I ate some pizza from here yesterday at a friends house. They had cheese pizza and veggie pizza. The veggie pizza was real good as I'm not a fan of other veggie pizzas. The cheese pizza was also good. I would definitely eat it again.
My family eats here somewhat often, but to be honest, that is only because they are the only place that delivers to my house. We order pizza much more often from another pizza place that does not deliver and we pick it up. It is that much better. My favorite menu item is the Italian hoagie. It is the one food item that is truly fantastic. Their pizza is good, Their wings are nice and meaty, but I would say that at least 75% of the time they are either burnt to a crisp, or undercooked. I would say that maybe one time in the 50 plus that we ordered from here the stars aligned and everything was good. There have been two occasions where we ordered delivery about an hour before they closed and they simply did not deliver it at all. When we called the next day to ask why they claimed that they did not have time, yet never called to tell us. So now when we want food late we just drive to Taco Bell rather than roll the dice with Gionino's. My honest opinion is that this place remains successful due to lack of competition.

The Sunrise Inn in downtown Warren is known for its delicious and reasonably priced Old World and specialty pizzas. Our banquet rooms and carry-out party packages ensure we accommodate all of your dining needs. Full bar and daily specials available!
Until today, I did not consider myself a fan of Sunrise. My wife and daughter love the old world pizza with pepperoni. I on the other hand never cared for it. Today I discovered the veggie Pizza with ranch. Not too much dressing, not salty and no burnt taste. This is a pizza I can sink my teeth into and enjoy year round. The crust reminds me of pan style with a light buttery crust and nice chew. Iâm a big guy with an appetite to match. 3 - 4 pieces is the norm to stuff me. 2 pieces of this great pie left me ready to roll out of the place. They offer a full service bar, carry out and luscious desserts. I recommend the salted caramel cheesecake. I fed a family of 4 with drinks and desserts for $42 plus tip (and we had leftovers). If you find yourself in Warren, this is a must try. Youâll be back!
In town on business, I checked out restaurants in the Newton Falls, OH area. I rode my motorcycle to the restaurant which was unattractive from the street, but their food got good ratings. As I entered the restaurant my nose was attacked with the most godawful stink like cat pee. I hid my shock and walked up to the counter and placed my order for Caprese Salad and Lasagne ( I was hungry and didn't want to wander over to McDonald's or Dairy Queen) I retrieved a soda out of the cooler and asked for a cup of ice....only to be told that they don't have ice...??! I sat down in the empty dining room and as I waited for my food, my eyes started burning. While wiping them down, I told the gal at the counter that I would like my or to carry out. The food was delivered quickly and I was relieved to get outside to fresh air. I carried my meal back to the hotel in my tour pak and headed to the room. To my delight the Lasagne was very good. The Caprese salad was fresh with Olive Oil but no Balsamic Vinegar. I asked for Balsamic and got a pouch of Balsamic Vinagrette salad dressing. Though not what I asked for the dressing was pretty good on the Tomatoes, Fresh Mozz and Spinach leaves. Next visit I will be ordering for delivery, but won't go there again.
I was visiting the area and noticed the sign for Tiger Den. When I walked up I saw daily specials listed on the window. There were several people in line before me ordering, it's take out only but the line moved quickly. The cashier was very helpful, polite and efficient. I took it to a nearby park to sit and enjoy. They were generous with the toppings and it tasted great. The next time I'm in town I will visit Tiger Den again!

I have been eating this pizza for about 60 years and still love it fresh and the morning after. Have taken it uncooked to friends and family hundreds of miles away and cooked in their ovens..Give it a try. About $15 for a square, will feed normal family of four.
