This is what I would call artisan or upscale pizza. It's not a "pizza parlor". Pizza Union has a full bar with high-top tables separated by a partial wall from another dining area with booths and regular tables. My party ordered chopped salads, two brick oven pizzas and the potato gnocchi entree. All of the food was delicious and tasty. I especially liked the chopped salad. The salad size could easily be a meal for one or shared by 2-3. The pizzas are about 12". You could enjoy one for yourself and have some to take home, or could easily make a meal for 2 with a salad or app, or mix and match a couple of pizzas. We had the Beast of Burden and Nonna Romana pies. The Beast was not beastly at all, which is a good thing. I'm not of the difference between "cup & char pepperoni" but it was good. The Nonna Romana was non meat. Both had ample cheese, perhaps a little more than they need. One thing that could be explained on the menu is the difference between "brick oven" and "roma" pies. Apparently, the latter has thicker crust. The brick oven crust was not especially thin, so I have to conclude that roma is substantially thicker. The wine list contained some decent and interesting wines. We did not have any mixed drinks.Prices were a little high, but not out of line with this type of food. The problem is that the prices could seem out of line with the atmosphere, which lacks a clear identity. The main dining room was brightly lit with music that was too loud and sometimes too energetic (I will note that our party was older middle-age). One wall had a rustic, faux brick trattoria vibe. The oppose wall, lined with booths, was stark with the vibe of a take-out pizza joint. The bar area was more dimly lit, with a little more warmth. My advice to the owners is to decide on the desired vibe and commit to that design. It feels as if they started to do this, but ran out of time, money or energy. Also, the front entrance opens right into the dining room sending in bursts of cold air. The layout can easily accommodate a second door or a curtain to avoid this problem. So, is is a date place? A family place? What? I don't know. I will return for the food, but will try to sit in the bar area and may ask for the music to be turned down.

We've had positive visits to Cafe Pitti in the past, but will not be returning. Service was very slow and haphazard. My husband ordered two beers and was not served what he ordered either time. He also ordered a pizza special. A single serve pizza with 2 large shrimp and a good amount of crab was $28. It was soggy and disappointing. I ordered a garden salad with green beans, corn, carrots, and granny smith apples. I'm pretty sure the veggies were frozen. It was smothered in a dressing. Pretty awful compared to the menu description. I asked for grilled shrimp on the side and was served 7 large for $4. (Interesting pricing when you consider the cost of the pizza) The shrimp were lukewarm and pale...no seasoning or anything to make them appetizing. My husband had a shrimp avacado salad as a starter. This very disappointing meal cost $72. Waste of money. Only positive was the view which is amazing. We feel really sorry for the hard time you experienced in our restaurant, sad to hear you didnât enjoy anything, your review will help us to improve our failures. Our menu is always made in small batches and from the scratch, never frozen, money we charge for our creations are reasonable price for unconventional cuisine carefully prepared in an open oak burning oven which deserves special kind of treatment and skills.Apparently we did not reach our standards serving you and for that reason just let me say so sorry.

From the day the first Leo's opened in 1981 in Cornwall, we have been a family-owned and operated restaurant. Customers can still find owner Leo Maniscalchi, our dad, flipping pizzas in the kitchen. His real passion is making sure the quality of food and

Everyone likes their hometown pizza but really, Joe's Pizza is incredible. I frequented Joe's a LOT when I got my license in 1988 at the age of 16. I went there so much that Mike and John would know my order based on the number on the caller ID. I joined the Air Force in 1990 and went around the world for 20 years. I have not had a better pizza or sub than Joe's. Cravings of Joe's Pizza were frequent over the years and occasionally I had the chance of visiting. I was just there last week and again, they remembered me even though I'm now 43 years old. If you're in the area and crave a good NY pizza, you must stop here. Great people and great food.

This reastaurant was another pleasant surpris. When you 1st enter the place looks so small just like a normal pizzeria, but the owner showed to the back, where there are 2 larger rooms for a full service reataurant. Our waitress was a sweetheart and extermely helpful. The wine was excellent and all of our meals were delicious. Highly recommend this place. Italian owned since this is an Italian restaurant.

What a nice surprise - a restaurant that totally lived up to its reviews. Server was efficient and friendly, food was delicious - totally reccommend the spicy chicken pasta. Only downside was the noise level...definitely NOT the place for a quiet romantic dinner.
