Took the family here in the afternoon. We were all very satisfied with the food (pizza, calzone). Portions were big and the staff was very friendly.
I ordered from Villanova's when I first move to New Braunfels, and FELL IN LOVE with their super delicious pizza crust! I never eat the crust on other pizzas, because there's nothing exciting about the plain ol' crusty bread sans sauce and cheese! But Villanova's -- not sure what they do different, but I'm HOOKED!! My puppies are sad when Villanova's is for dinner, because they now get gypped out of their 'treat'!!!

A very good pizza. Crust is thick and tasty. Sauce has good flavor. I ordered a half and half with supreme on one side and Hawaiian on the other half. All ingredients seemed fresh and pizza was hot and ready when promised. They seem to only have a 16" pizza and it is loaded so there is a lot of food but who doesn't like left over pizza. May be a little pricey for some but worth it. Mine was $20. Outside tables or take it with you. Tables are a pleasant place to sit and watch the world go by.

Yummy pizza at a great price. Lineup, tell them the size of pie you want then add your toppings from a wide variety choices. Donât like tomato sauce, no problem there is basil, pesto olive oil or white sauce to put on the base layer then make it as simple or complex as you want all for the one very affordable price. The place isnât fancy but the pizza was great and so was the price.

Located in charming downtown New Braunfels, the pub is roomy, makes generously poured drinks, has darts, pool, sports on TV and a small patio area in the rear of the building. You have to park on the downtown street or walk a few blocks from a parking area to get there. They have food available, but we just go for beverages and darts when doing a downtown pub crawl. Primarily a bar.

Decided to grab lunch before a movie. Went to Nokia. Great choice! We both overindulged in the knots. Had a glass of good house Moscato. Tried a sample of one of the wines of the month, Butter. Not for either of us! The house salad dressing is phenomenal! Our pasta samplers were so good. The sauce was fresh with just the right spices. Needless to say, we were stuffed when done! No room for popcorn!

Found this little jewel of a place by accident. Saw "pizza" and said, yup, lets have a slice or two. Instead, had one of the best burgers in town. What a pleasant surprise. Will defiantly go back and try some of their other fare, including their pizza. For now, I'm happy with the burger and highly recommend you stop in!

We ordered a pizza and salad for take out after moving to this area. Wonderful experience! Servers pleasant and the pizza was delicious! Salad very fresh and generous. Outdoor seating available and a great lunch special on the menu. Will definitely be our âgo-toâ for pizza.

I live in NB so I may expect more from the places here I choose to dine. I rarely go to NYPB due mainly to their poor customer service I experienced when they first opened.... first impressions usually last. Iâve been a few times since and was not that disappointed in the experience. Until this last time: I went back due solely to it being convenient to where I live and I didnât feel like dealing with the tourist traffic. I appreciate the tourist business and NB is a great place to live or visit. I called in the order and specifically asked for it to be extra crispy. Even went so far as to say âjust shy of burnt.â I had to wait 45 minutes for them to have it ready. The cashier read back to me the order as I was paying and included that I requested extra crispy. Soooooo... get the pizza home and not only was it not crispy, it was literally soggy! I had to put it in my oven for another 20 minutes and the bottom of the crust still was not crispy. It was practically raw looking. I have no idea how a pizza can get that wet when cooked in a brick oven. I will never go back. Iâm sure many people have had great experiences there, just not me. Plus, there are really good pizza places in NB. Infernoâs and Underground Pizza to name a couple.
