During our stay in Rawai we were recommended Amalfi as a go to place for an Italian menu.This is a pleasant and undoubtedly popular venue. The food was very good. Great sized portions. I cannot fault my pizza and starter.The issue is merely the service. The staff are welcoming and attentitive but they almost get in each other's way, this leads to a hap hazard service with meals arriving at different times and on our visit drinks mid service not arriving at all.I'm on holiday and in chilled mode but you still expect what you order to arrive. Someone front of house needs to take control of the floor.I will definitely go back for the food but not for the service which is a shame as I like the restaurant, but on this occasion I am only minded to rate our experience as average.

We had an amazing meal and service this evening at the restaurant. It is the best Indian food I've tasted in a long time. We ordered chicken pakora, vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, mutton bhuna with egg fried rice and garlic nan. Amazing taste and meal portions. We asked for more spice and indeed they were very flavoured. The food just melts in your mouth. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Thank you we will return. Laura and Chris (From Scotland)

We went there for a quick bite, but ended up staying for about 1 & half hours. There was absolutely nothing we could complain about. The service, friendly & efficient staff, the pleasant host, beautiful ambience, good pricing & of course exquisite food deserves 10 stars.We were treated with a lovely basket with fresh bread before we ordered...nice touch. We ordered the carpaccio as a starter and it was DIVINE! This was followed by gnocchi and salad and a lovely wine...each dish fresh, tasty and wanting more.The following evening was our 20 year anniversary celebration & decided to go to a different restaurant...our bad...everything was rushed and noisy. Wish we went to Gastone again instead.Wishing you restaurant all the blessings & thank you again for making us feel we were in little Italy.Well done!!

We came several times over a 6 week period for brunch. The croque madam was to die for and consistently good. The full breakfast with beans and mushrooms was also excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. We always bought crystal salted butter, freshly baked bread and foie gras.

Very happy with our meal here. Pizza was great and pasta was very good. Great to see a real Italian in Phuket. Only problem was that it was very hot inside even though fans were blasting.

I had driven past it so many times but never had the urge to go inside. One of my friends suggested it was great and we went for dinner. It was better than great, it was Awesome Dude!!! We were pleasently surprised with this restaurants wide range offerings and the good taste. All the dishes we had were very delicious and could have been easily served in Europe as Italian food. We also had one Pad Thai, which also did not disappoint. The dishes we tried were: Pad Thai, Hawaii Pizza, Spaghetti Carbonara and the Tomato and Mozarella Salad with Pesto. Everything was delicious! As a dessert I had Crème brûlée, which was also very tasty.

We looked for European food today and found this place nearby our house on trip advisor. The high rating made us curious. The driving instructions through some backplace roads felt odd. The outside wasnât too appealing. As we ordered the food, we saw the original Italian cook baking the pizzas. Made us comfortable. The waiters are extremely nice and helpful. Was an excellent service. Rapid and service quality. We ordered Capricosa, 4 Stagione, Lasagna and a Tuna Salad. All the food was excellent and 100% authentic Italian. We would definitely come back. We gave the 5 for the food, not the restaurant environment.

Good spaghettis Puttanesca must absolute contain capers, anchovies, black olives and be spicy. Without all these ingredients there are not Puttanesca â¦I know Maggie some 15 years before as she cooks on Rawaii beach. Her Puttanesca where a dream⦠Now the is a bad dream !
