Mossel Bay is a harbour town of about 130,000 people on the Southern Cape (or Garden Route) of South Africa. It is an important tourism and farming region of the Western Cape Province. Mossel Bay lies 400 kilometres east of the country's seat of parliament, Cape Town (which is also the capital city of the Western Cape Province), and 400 km west of Port Elizabeth, the largest city in the Eastern Cape Province. The older parts of the town occupy the north-facing side of the Cape St Blaize Peninsula, whilst the newer suburbs straddle the Peninsula and have spread eastwards along the sandy shore of the Bay.

My husband and I have had meals there several times. We simply love the place! The service is always friendly, and the food divine! Then there is the setting! What a beautiful view! Try this restaurant! You will certainly leave there pleased and relaxed!

We liked this restaurant so much we went two nights in a row. They have very good food choices from freshly made sushi to ostrich. My family really loved the Asian chicken dish! Their homemade soups are outstanding. When they have a bus or two in the restaurant service can slow down a bit but they do very well overall. Their amazing servers try and be attentive to your needs.

Massive portions of good tasting food! Do not even order coffee as its really bad coffee. They can definitely work on supplying their clients with better coffee. Bleh (worldwide coffee drinkerâ) Nice place ,perfect for family outing.

When I come to Mosselbay there always is a take away night and we always opt for Pizza Express. Had a super chat with the owner last night sharing in her passion for great food. This passion is evident in her great pizzas. One small criticism - please get stronger boxes. If you put on on top of the other...the boxes collapse into each other and the yummy topping gets stuck to the lid. Keep up the awesome job

We previously stopped for astro cookies which were so good we decided to celebrate a 50th birthday here. From the warm fireplace and great ambience to the excellent food, this was the discovery of the decade! The coffee was rich and good, the pizzas thin based and delicious and we ended off with carrot cake made especially for us - moist and decadent. We will certainly be back every time we are in the area. This is Mossel bay's little gem. Thanks to Anita and her team for making this a memorable birthday!Dear Rosanne, it gives us great pleasure that you enjoyed your time with us. Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to share with the tripadvisor community. We have visited Piza e Vino twice and both times were good experiences! The food was excellent.. Well above expectations... management seems to be on it and they are visible! Our waiter both visits was the same guy and he was lovely but a little overly chatty, however, this did not deter from our experience. We stopped for lunch as a group of 7 this week.4 got great meals, tasty and value for money - Chicken schnitzel and burgersThe other 3 dishes were quite disappointing. In my case - yellow curry powder on my chicken shawarma.
