We had reservations for 6 PM but it was only 3/4 full. We started with cocktails, a Figlio Martini was $10 and a Bourbon Maple Smash was $9; both were good. There were several selections on the $20.19 Restaurant Week menu. She ordered the Peasant Salad, I had the French Onion soup, we both selected the Linguine Bolognese and finished with the Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie. The meal was delicious! The salad was crisp and the cup of soup had just enough cheese and croutons. The Bolognese was filled with sausage and very meaty. The pie had just a taste of peanut butter which did not overpower the ice cream. Lia M. was attentive and pleasant.
Cassano's has been in Dayton almost forever. It's the first in super thin crust cut into squares. So don't go looking for a NY city pizza. the crust tends to be salty. They put salt under the pie. It great for carryout and they have drive-up windows at some locations. It's Dayton's famous pizza.

New York style pizza is right on. We watched the cook hand toss the crusts.Good show.At lunch there are specials, subs included, but this visit they were out of sub rolls. Mom likes the eggplant parm sub, but this visit she got a healthy almost dinner sized portion. Delicious and the sauce was too.Lunch time gets a little crowded, so come as early as you can. Opens at 11.Service is great.

Visited with 4 friends and we all enjoyed our lunch. However, service was slower than it needed to be. The server was friendly and all our orders came out correctly, but it seemed to take a long time between the time we ordered drinks and they were served, as well as when we ordered entrees and they were served. The restaurant was more than half full, but wasn't at capacity, so I don't understand why it was so slow.

Many Pizza Huts are going to a carryout/delivery only format. This one still offers dining in and still has the lunch buffet. We often get carryout from this location also.

Best pizza around! Sandwiches are also very good. We like the lunch box specials, too. Ham club hot with cheese is our favorite sandwich.

Where to eat Steakhouse food in Moraine: The Best Restaurants and Bars

For full disclosure, I grew-up in Miamisburg so I've been eating Ron's pizza since I was 5. However, the food at Ron's hasn't changed and if anything, has gotten better over the years. My favorite is the deluxe, with that wonderful sausage. This is real sausage, not that ground-up mixture that Marion's uses. The crust is so good I sometimes eat the ingredients first so I can savor the crust. Pepperoni is top-notch, and if you don't order pizza their subs are excellent, as well. My favorite is the steak sub with gravy and banana peppers. They have a buffet on weekdays so you can sample all the pizzas, plus their famous eggs and beets. Their outdoor bar is a great place to meet and greet, too. You can't go wrong with Ron's.
Tis the OSU v. Northern Illinois game day.Like zillions of other Buckeye Nation Folks, we are in a pizza mood.We both have a favorite, however, given TripAdvisor reviews, we branch out to Marcoâs.Marcoâs produces an OK pizza. We elect to order the specialty pie, UNOâs. Do not ever confuse this pie with Pizza Unoâs, and this pizza is more âPlain Janeâ than specialty pie.Crust is fine â chewy. Sauce is ok; veggies are ok, sausage is fine. However, this pizza is just âPlain Jane.âNothing to rave about.Would we re-order? Probably not.Pizza is in the eyes and taste of the be-holder.

Visit with family and friends after nine holes at Dayton Community Golf. Ordered Dr. Dre pizza, incredibly delicious and spicy with jalapeños, chicken, bacon, etc. Highly recommended...
