Ottimo locale in cui passare anche solo per un caffè o un ghiacciolo. Se si passa una giornata al torrente setta è comodo da raggiungere in pochi minuti di auto. Personale gentile e alla mano. Consigliato!

The restaurant has several locations , from 2 to 90 people , and is very suitable for dinners and group meals at the same time to spend a romantic view of the structure in salt which can then be devoted to tables without removing the privacy and tranquili
One of the highlights of our holiday - perfect pizza, antipasti, steak and desert. The kids think it's the best pizza they have ever had in Italy. Steak was stunning. Great place for families, and on a weeknight was very busy - for a restaurant in a wee village that speaks volumes. Very reasonable prices too.

Decided to pull of the autostrada on a long drive and was very impressed with this pzzeria. We had a fairy simple food for the kids but they have a lovely preprated lamb brochette that I had which showed the they had real quality ingrediants. Needs another toilet of two but would go again

We stopped by for a few evening drinks on a Friday night and Saturday night in early May. They have a nice wine selection and very friendly, helpful staff. We did not have dinner, so we cannot comment on the restaurant's food quality. However, they provided complementary bar food (pizza, bread, crisps, bruschetta) during the early evening, which tasted good. The bar/restaurant is attached to a very nice Bed and Breakfast named Locanda del Viandate (separately reviewed).

We found this restaurant by chance when we were staying close by. It was quite early when we arrived and the pasta chef hadn't yet started his chef, so we started off sharing a delicious thin and crispy margherita pizza and a calzone (with a filling of ham, mushrooms & artichokes) accompanied by a tricolore salad of buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes. The waiters did not speak much English (not do we speak Italian), but we got by with sign language and the waiter fetched a few ingredients from the kitchen to show us "carciofo" (artichoke), etc. Once the pasta chef arrived, we ordered a Pomodoro pasta to share - the Italian's cook their pasta al dente - and the pasta arrived perfectly cooked and full of flavour.Highly recommended for an authentic meal, in a non-touristy restaurant frequented by the locals.Good morning,Thank you so much for your review, i remember you!!You are very polite and comprensive with our bad english!!!!We will waiting for you soon Loiano with better english :-)ThnkCarmine A

Rustic, simple and essential and dishes of pasta with Bolognese cuisine made ââstrictly on the rolling pin, high-quality beef, crescentine and homemade desserts. The pizzas are very light long fermentation to digest. The local has two outdoor gardens, one
Nine of us went for family supper. It's the local to the house where we were staying. It's an informal place with plenty of parking. The pizza was simply delicious. Think it's the best I've ever eaten. Superb value. Great service. A real local find.Thank you so much for the nice comments. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay. Good bye
Where to eat Italian food in Monzuno: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Without a doubt the best food we had the entire two weeks in Italy. Allow me to set the stage for you. Our group of eight while on the way to Venice on a miserable raining cold day, had the luck to take the Rioveggio exit one hour outside of Bologna. We asked a local shopkeeper and he pointed us to the direction of this restaurant. Here we are, eight Americans walk in this establishment much to the surprise of the owner and other patrons. My guess is that there are not very used to tourists judging from the long and persistence stares. We started with an assortment of local cold cuts and cheeses along with some mozzarella and pancetta. Followed by 8 pasta dishes Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, Garganelli with Salmon, Tortellini in a wonderful broth, Green Gnocchetti in a gorgonzola sauce, tagliatelle in meat sauce. Could not tell you which was better as there were all outstanding, yes I tasted them all. However, by far the star of the show was Tortellacci stuffed with pear and cheese, I think I died and went to heaven. The best part was the price, all of the above plus two liter of a very nice house wine and water for 115 euros. Yes, that is not a typo 115 euros. Someway, somehow will have to return.

Whilst staying just outside Monzuno back in September we went to Ristorante pizzeria Giardino one evening for their pizza cooked in the pizza oven at the front of the restaurant - delicious. Many toppings to choose from, on large crispy bases. Whilst there, we saw many fish dishes being served - whole sea bass, sea bream etc so decided to return the next evening to try them. The fish was cooked in the pizza oven so came out soft and juicy on the inside, crispy skin on the outside - wonderful, and only 7 Euros/dish. The restaurant could easily be overlooked when walking past but once inside it opens up to quite a large dining room. Obviously used a lot by the locals - we were the only British customers - but made to feel very welcome. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend it.

This restaurant is really really good. We were 3 friends and we took crostini misti, a pizza and two filetti ai porcini, plus the home made desserts. Everything was very well presented and good value for money. Absolutely suggested as a must in the valley.
