Ferragosto a menu fisso. Sono sempre un po' scettico sulla qualità dei menù fissi, ma stavolta mi sono dovuto ricredere. Antipasto ampio (porchetta, panzanella, fagioli e fritti alle verdure), primi fantastici con pasta fatta in casa (tortelloni di ricotta ai tre funghi, maltagliati al sugo con olive e sedani con pistacchio) e secondi di carne molto buoni. Personale cordiale e gentile. Una ricca mangiata e un posto da riprovare.

L'officina is next to the historical centre of Monterotondo. It's a charming place where you can relax, have some good food and in the evening occasionally listen to some good live music. The managers are very friendly and will go out of their way to make you happy. Open from breakfast to dinner the food is all fresh and you can also find some Vegan dishes. Prises are fare.Thank you!

Da Alice, in qualsiasi città ci si trovi, ci si aspetta sempre un livello molto alto, anche perché i prezzi sono sicuramente più alti rispetto ai cmpetitor. A Monterotondo, però, gli stessi competitor sono particolarmente agguerriti e non solo sul prezzo, ma anche e soprattutto sulla qualità . Quindi ne viene fuori un giudizio assolutamente nella media, anzi spesso più basso rispetto alla diretta concorrenza. Per carità , sempre tutto molto buono e gustoso, con prodotti di qualità , ma nulla che la faccia eccellere veramente

Quando passo per Monterotondo ed è ora di cena, mi fermo sempre in questo locale, perchè offre molte alternative oltre alla consueta pizza a taglio, che peraltro si presenta bene ed è in tante varietà . Ci sono almeno 3 primi e 6 secondi piatti sempre in vetrina, a qualunque ora. Le porzioni sono gigantesche, di qualità media, ed i prezzi abbordabilissimi.

I highly recommend this place. The food is excellent, the cook Dario is a a true specialist and very genuine, positive person. There is no fixed menu but you can always get fresh fish and meat and discuss how you would like to have it prepared. I ended up going there many times during my stay. Sometimes I ordered two meals, because it was just so good (and cheap).

I ate here with a friend whilst on my way to Rome, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We didn't know which of the 3 pasta plates to order, so we ordered all 3 and did not regret it! The amatriciana is spectacular, and the cacio e pepe was too. However, the carbonara was way too peppery and salty, but it didn't stop me from eating all of it. We saw many pizzas being served too, and they looked proper! (Stone oven is not a rarity in Italy, mind!)

Siamo stati in compagnia di amici in questa pizzeria scegliendo pizze di tipo "romana", ben condite e digeribili. Il localino, nel centro storico di Monterotondo, è molto grazioso, specie nel suo lato più nascosto che è la terrazza. Durante il periodo estivo, causa temperatura del forno, è praticamente proibitivo mangiare all'interno e quindi anche i coperti si riducono vistosamente tanto da rischiare di non sederci perché privi di una prenotazione preventiva. Servizio impeccabile. Prezzo nella media della cittadina.
