... come diceva qualcuno! Pizza veramente buona , pizzaiolo ( titolare) bravissimo a prova d' intenditori.

Fin qui tutto in ordine . A SETTORI ?? MOLTO MOLTO DELUDENTE !!! Mai PIà !!! Voto 4

After a visit to the Duomo, and having gotten lost along the way on the autostrada, of course!, it was time for lunch. Over on the sunny side of the street, this place was just as it seems... decent standard fare at reasonable prices. Really good and garlicky bruschetta followed by 2 different types of spaghetti with beer and fruity vino rossa. The waiter was accommodating, helped us with wifi and when I went to the loo, the Chef giggled at my bad conversational skills in Italian. Worse things can happen on holidays...

Pizza restaurant opposite the Cathedral in a pleasant square. We stopped for some pizza and a few beers. Good pizza and friendly locals who shared a giant lemon with us, sounds strange but it tasted quiet sweet when added with salt. I guess we benefited by visiting out of high season and the restaurant was quiet. Fortunately when we were leaving it filled up with a load of Chinese just off the boat (cruise liner) on an organised tour and chaos ensued.PS we caught the bus (309 or 389) which taught us the meaning of purgatory.

But could have been stretched more to allow the toppings to release their moisture.Pizzas lost their crunch due to their thickness and over generous toppings.. great sausage flavoured with fennel.Slow service, even though we were first in for lunch. My favourite pizza place, Soho Joe in central London is better value and better pizza...this was ok for a tourist lunch

We had a lovely dinner here when we spent a night in Monreale. We sat on the upper terrace and dined as we watched the sunset over the the valley and mountains and watched lights coming on in all the small villages and towns over the surrounding hills. Beautiful! We opted for a menu offer for around 15Euro pp which included a range of antipasti, a pizza, a side dish, desert, and drink. Very good value for the amount of food provided and it was the best pizza we had in Sicily. Our waitress was very helpful, friendly and pleasant and so was the owner who we got chatting with after dinner and got some great recommendations about where to visit in Sicily. If you visit Monreale we would highly recommend a visit to Rifugio Normanno's. It was the highlight of our stay.

We enjoyed an excellent pizza here in a very cosy setting tucked away near the cathedral. The restaurant was extremely busy towards the end of the evening, but that might have been because there was a festival on. In any case we would recommend going early, maybe about half seven.

This place just blew our mind! We were strolling around looking for somewhere to eat and just behind a few orange and lime trees we could see this cute little restaurant overlooking the valley and Palermo down below...we wondered this is going to be expensive but decided to stay and eat due to its beautiful view and location..and it did not disappoint we ate so well from the antipasto of mixed Sicilian delicacies to a wonderful plate of Penne with rags and to finish off the involtini that we just couldn't eat being so full ( which we took home with us) we both had a wonderful glass of wine and coffee and the best part? When we got the bill it was much less than we had ever imagined...so please go take the walk and find this awesome, delicious restaurant and enjoy the food and the view..

Let's face it, Monreale is full of tourists, and there are plenty of tourist traps in the town. We were lucky to find this place, and considering how close it is to the cathedral, it's amazing how good it was. There was pleasant outdoor seating, the service was friendly and efficient (well, we weren't in a rush anyway). The food was good, fresh, and well-prepared, on a high quality level.

I visited this place in May with some friends , since every time I visit we must go for some good pizza near Palermo and we decided to try this place. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming making sure you're making the best decision for your meal and recommending drinks and portions too. I was very undecided re my pizza so the owner was so kind to 'customise' a capricciosa by adding extra cheeses and salami. Needless to say was heavenly good! The dough is probably the best part: you can tell there's work behind it and ingredients were fresh. I couldn't finish though cause the pizzas are very big so make sure that if you go you have a small lunch! They have some very nice peculiar beers that I quite enjoyed trying and we were offered an amazing almond parfait as dessert.
