Second time we tried our this restaurant, and also this time we were not disappointed! We were two families with kids and we got a warm welcome by the staff, placed inside. There is also possibility to sit outside in the front of the restaurant. The food were great, we tried different type, from fish, lamb and pizza. All tasteful and accompanied with good wine to the adults. The desserts were delicious and my pannacotta was fantastic.Prices were reasonable and well worth the food.A night cup were offered from the staff as always, and this is a place we will visit again.

La Cicala is an Italian restaurant located on the beachfront in Puerto de Mogán in the south of Gran Canaria.
To back up a review just left from a family. We were sat behind them and have been here numerous times over the past 5 years. Food is good but to over hear the conversation by the experienced slim bald waiter, who has been excellent in the past, and the way he talked to them the way he did, made my blood boil. All they simply wanted was to pay the price of pizzas at the prize on menu and to not have tomato sauce on them. They were already bbq pizzas and should not of had to pay an inflated price to not have tomato sauce on them. He simply expressed his thoughts about Brits trying to get stuff free, I did address matter with him and bill was resolved but in a nasty manner. Due to this alone I will not be going back when here next year and future.

Found this little gem in May 2016 when we visited Gran Canaria. On a Thursday they do the most amazing BBQ ribs, meat literally falls off the bone and is so tender. The chips are the best I have tasted in Gran Canaria. Terry, the owner, is an amazing singer and very entertaining. Well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed.

We haven't eaten here but 2 years ago we found the So Good sofa at the entrance to the restaurant and most evenings we would stroll down from our hotel for cocktails perched on the sofa watching the world walk by and the sunset. We returned this year and while the waiter didn't seem so attentive and happy it is still a great place to be for pre-dinner drinks. Will last in our memories.

Visited last week for Lunch. Service was quite slow at first to the point we nearly walked out but we stuck with it after finally being approached by a very friendly waitress. As for the food. It was shocking. I wouldnt feed the lasagne to a dog. The burger was extremely cheap meat and the toasty was dripping in grease. Disappointing but by the time it came we just wanted out of there. Walked past again and seen the evening food look okay but id definately reccomend avioding the lunch menu and in particular the awful lasagne.

You could easily miss this little jewel of a restaurant as it is very small and tucked away behind the other restaurants in Playa del Cura. We had possibly the best meal we had on holiday here so I have no issue in recommending this little restaurant. The staff are first class and work very hard to get it just right. We had a steak and pasta which were excellent. I would recommend this ace if you are in the area.

As you will see from my other reviews of this great little Italian the food is great with attentive service. The restaurant isnât much to look at from the outside but ask yourself this.. do you eat the furnishings? Well no you donât. You eat the food.. Every time we eat here the other diners are either repeat visitors or book for a second visit which speaks volumes. Eaten here before and yes I will be eating here again..
