It is the county seat of Douglas County and is adjacent to the town of Gardnerville. It was founded in 1906 by Heinrich Friedrich Dangberg Jr., who named it after the town of Minden, in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, which was near his father's birthplace. A large share of the first settlers were Germans. Minden was founded on company land of the Dangberg Home Ranch and Dangberg commissioned most of the town's early buildings. Minden has had a post office since 1906.

We went here for lunch for the first time today on a Saturday afternoon. This is a small sit down pizza restaurant in the Gardnerville Ranchos area, in the shopping center right behind The Dollar General Store. It is nice inside, with lots of tables and a small arcade area. there is a big screen TV ...today there was MLB on TV. You must go to the counter to order. The salad bar is to the left and looked really nice and full of fresh veggies and salad items. We ordered the small pizza, half the Pizza Farm Veggie and half sausage and ham. It was 8 slices, with a delicious crust, and the veggies and meats were cooked perfectly. There was a lot of cheese on the pizza- no skimping on this one! This was perfect for two people. We also ordered the bone-in, oven baked 8 piece Buffalo wings with blue cheese dressing. The spicy buffalo sauce was great and the wings were moist and tender. The blue cheese dressing was very generous - and tasty- and we also dipped our pizza in it! We also ordered an iced tea and a sprite. You get one refill with the drink. The restroom was very clean and had plenty of stocked paper towels and toilet paper. Hey, that's important!! They also have a party room that can be reserved in the back. The prices were very reasonable. They also deliver and also carry beer and wine. They run a pizza special on a daily basis and you can also get a little discount if you go online or on their Facebook page for the Pizza Farm Secret Word. They also offer take-n-bake pizzas for take out only, no delivery. The owners were really nice and we loved that they have a real brick pizza oven. We will be back!

The best take and bake in the Carson Valley. I never have their baked pizzas so I won't comment on those. Always friendly, always good.

but it was worth the wait. Had the specialty pie "hearty meat supreme" on skinny crust and it came out perfect. The sauce melding perfectly with the cheese blend, while the pepperoni and sausage just added to the yumm factor. It has been awhile since I've had Round Table and have got to say, in this area they are still the king.

We gave them another chance and so should you. NEW MANAGMENT HAS REALLY HELPED. Felicia the new manager really cares about the quality and customer service. The pizza was great as was the service. We would like to ask you all to give them another chance. We will definitely eat there much more.

So we called for pizza delivery. They said 45 minutes. An hour and a half later it showed up. We ordered White pizza with garlic, pepperoni, mushrooms, and olives. Should have been well covered. Not really, lots of open crust spaces with nothing on it. Cost was over $30 and it was not worth it. They offered us a discount on another pizza. Two crummy pizzas? I think not.

We come back to visit family about once a year and we try to make sure that we grab a pizza every year we are here. Been going to this place for about 25+ years and they still make the best pizza in town. Love the Little Nel and Job's Peak pizza. Would encourage anyone to find a better pizza.Staff is exceptional too. We got there right at closing time and they still were nothing but professional and welcoming. We look forward to coming back next year.

An adorable restaurant with great food! Grab a cocktail made with the local distillery products first. The apple cranberry salad was incredible and the burgers were amazing! The beef is local too.

Stopped into this local watering hole while traveling through the charming town of Minden. I enjoyed an IPA on tap as well as a spinach-garlic pizza (made fresh to order). Beer and pizza were very good. Service was very friendly and although I am not a local, I was treated like âa regular.â Atmosphere is âold-schoolâ casual. Location is right in the heart of historic (downtown) Minden.

If the original Chicago foodies, now of Nevada, take us to have Chicago style pizza we know it will be great! The pizza was definitely delicious and the service was excellent. Everything seemed fresh and the pizza was done with a crisp crust -- cut into squares the way they do it in the Midwest. I'm from the east coast so I love this thin crust and the little squares. Everyone should try this place.
