Owner is always helpful and pleasant, good filling food at reasonable prices. It is a locals bar but everyone is cheerful and pleasant. On our first visit the whole village was jammed packed but they still managed to squeeze us in, a bit of a wait but we did get fed. Other nights it was very quiet and the food arrived in minutes.Only place open during a huge thunderstorm but still serving.

A family orientated restaurant with beautiful sea views of St Paul's Island, Comino and Gozo. It forms part of the Malta National Aquarium Complex
Lovely pizza (nice and thin and crispy), great location but perhaps a little overpriced. 4 of us ate, and 3 of us had the mexicana pizza - not as spicy as any of us would have liked however - but this did not distract from the quality.

We had a really nice experience at Fliegu as the owner and staff were welcoming and they always welcomed us with a big smile. The view towards Malta and Comino were amazing. The pizza was one of the best that we had on the island, cooked in the authentic stone oven and the pasta portions were so massive that we couldn't finish it. we can definitely recommend this place when you visit Gozo.Thank you from all of us!

Bukkett was very good some years ago, this means food AND service. These days service is very chaotic, Bukkett needs a maitre d'hotel , or a person who organizes . Waithers come to the tables with one plate , loose too much time, kitchen cannot follow. e.g. you get you patato's when you have finische your fish.

We ate here many times and found Veranda to be a very nice location comfortable and lovely views out to sea. The quality of the food was good and everything was very tadty. Service was very good, although when one particular head waitress is in charge, the minute you have your glass or plate empty, she is straight down to you wanting to know what else you would like, some people may find this a bit pressuring you in to either making another order or trying to get you out. Personally we leave when we are finished, but some people may see this as a negative. All the other waitresses werevery pleasant and gave good service. Recommended.

D-BAR is a family run Restaurant, Pizzeria and Bar, brimming with charm and tradition. Set over two floors, the upper level provides a relaxing and traditional experience; here you will find yourself gazing upon a beautiful collection of vintage portraits
Luckily we found D'Bar on day two and booked up for most of the holiday (they are busy!) - the food is very high quality as is the wine selection and price wise we were very pleased - four adults typically coming in at around â¬28 per head - friendly staff, five star restaurant easily!

OVER RATED , undoubtedly because it's cafe prices ..the serving staff are pretty hopeless, and asking them for attention ..well, 'sorry to have inconvenienced you .'The staff rush up and down barely looking at customers .. this places trades on its lovely location, certainly the staff are un trained and for me, probably one of the worst sets of staff on the island.Food average..try the Club House next door, the best burgers in town and terrific staff .

Recently opened restaurant in the heart of Bahar ic-Caghaq, serving authentic Mediterranean food. The menu includes homemade pasta and pizza, grilled meats and fresh fish, with over 130 wines from around the world. One can also choose from a great selecti
A really nice, new, welcoming place, polite staff, good food standard, but kitchen struggles to serve within decent time frames if the place is full.We booked a table of eight on a Saturday night and within 10 minutes of being seated, we had ordered our starters and mains. Our starters appeared after 45 minutes, and our mains were served after 1 hour 15 mins after our starter plates were cleared...and we had to ask the staff whether they had an idea of when our mains were expected...Clearly the kitchen could not cope with the volume, including the extra tables placed outside...When one considers the pricing of some of the items (burger @â¬19.50) this place is not cheap. But when a long wait is compounded in having your main dish (in our case duck) not cooked properly, then this becomes a really bad situation....To be fair, the head waitress serving our table (after all the restaurant witnessed her putting up with another incident by probably another impatient customer) did notice that the duck was not eaten and said that this will be deducted from our bill, together with any complimentary desserts and liqueur, which we had.Our bill arrived, I gave it a glance to see whether the duck was removed (it was) and we paid up. Looking at the bill again at home, we found out that we were charged for a second bottle of white wine (which we didn't have) @â¬25... by coincidence, the price of the duck main...an genuine error or sneaky intention? If it wasn't for the fact that we were enjoying a long awaited family reunion, in a new, nicely decorated place with polite (but helpless) staff, one would think twice on revisiting, especially on busy days. The place has real potential, but they must solve their kitchen capability to cope. Otherwise if they want to become just another pizza place, they will lose out on restaurant patrons that are willing to pay a little extra for some really good new idea dishes.
