I stayed in the area and got pizza and a salad to go a couple of times. Both were delicious. Portions were bigger than expected. I would recommend.

Based on high TA ratings we pre-booked this small but popular caffe for an early dinner. Our food choices were well cooked traditional pasta and meat dishes and the support of locals was obvious, including take-away service. By Sydney pricing standards the food was very good value and overall we had a very good experience.

My family were staying close to Sydney domestic terminal and we wanted something more wholesome than KFC or McDonald's for dinner. The restaurant was a 15 minute casual stroll from the hotel.Located on a main street it was easy to find with the assistance of Google maps. We arrived early (5pm) for dinner. The restaurant is small and I would suspect that they could potentially run out of tables during busy times.Service was friendly, attentive and efficient.Food came out quickly and was well portioned.Prices were moderate and reasonable for the location and quality. It was a nice little find and hope to go back on our next trip to the airport. It had a good casual vibe.

Found this little gem on our visit to the area tonight. Great authentic pasta and fantastic pizza. Very simple wine list. The Italian waitress is a such a sparkler in the environment- happy , cheerful and really adds to the authentic Italian food! Good fun and not expensive.

This is one of the better (non asian) options for lunch in Mascot. The service is friendly and efficient and the pizzas arrive incredibly quickly. They do perfect woodfired pizza here, lovely bases and simple toppings not drowned in cheese. The other lunch options are also good, though strangely their caesar salad does not include bacon.

Italian Bar and Grill with a New York feel. Meats on the spit/ Rotisserie and woodfired , Home made pasta's and pizzas and amazing cocktails. A great wine list including Australian, European and Argentina and France
have been here a few times and only once couldn't be accommodated so had take away instead. Hard to name a favorite dish, love the lamb off the spit and pork but the pizzas are also worth a try. Last night I had spaghetti carbonara and the other half had a steak... both were perfectly. The owners are onsite (Alex &Matt) pretty much whenever the restaurant is open, they and the staff and are very welcoming. They make everyone feel like family!definitely recommend booking if you can or else worth popping in, you may be seated the counter which is interesting as you can see the whole open kitchen.
