Zeno's is an institution in M'town. And, unfortunately, sometimes institutions retain a good reputation out of nostalgia. This is NOT the best pizza in the world or probably even Iowa, so I wouldn't tell anyone to go out of their way. And it does NOT use all fresh ingredients (canned mushrooms, for one example). Zeno's was the place I frequented in high school and therefore for many years I, too, felt the need to go back when I came home. But after 40 years of eating better pizza in many different places I don't get as excited to go there when home. Heck, I've had better pizza from Papa Murphy's and I think there's one of those in M'town near the mall. But, all that said, if YOU love Zeno's because you went there as a kid or go there all the time now and want to take out of town visitors, go for it! And enjoy! I just wouldn't highly recommend it for folks visiting from away who don't have any connection. My husband endured it for many years because I had to go back, but he always said it tasted like a cracker with bad sauce and raw toppings! My kids never loved it either. Sorry, Zeno's.

We had a family gathering and were planning on getting Zenos pizza. The tornado took Zenos out of business so we tried Mama DiGrado's. We picked up the pizza at the Marshalltown mall location. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The pizza was ready in about a 1/2 hour and was very hot when we picked them up. We paid about $26 for each jumbo pizza.The pizza was average but met our expectations for Marshalltown, Iowa. We did feel that they were a little overpriced compared to other options.I'm not sure if we will try them again.Thank you for your patronage, we're sorry you were disappointed.

We stopped in tint he Pizza Ranch when I was visiting my parents in Marshalltown. The restaurant was clean and we received good service, but the food was horrible. The pizza crust tasted like cardboard, the sauce was very garlicky, the chicken was so greasy that all you could taste was the oil it was cooked in. The best part of the meal was the salad. Nice greens, but what is it with Iowa and ranch dressing?

Closed at this N. Center location. Domino's is now located on south center st. Taking advantage of coupons. I ordered Specialty Chicken white breast meat my choice of toppings were Crispy Bacon & Tomato when boxed was 4"x9" 3 other choices are available. Parmesan bread bites I ordered 16 bites. Stuffed Cheesy Bread 8-piece my choice of Garlic dipping sauce served in a box 5"x10" 3 varieties are available. I found it to be very cheesy. Ordered medium 2 topping Pineapple & Premium chicken(grilled) hand tossed [thin crust] which was 12". Large selection of pizza choices sizes Combinations Toppings Available meats, veggies,and cheeses. I was pleased with everything I ordered and the new location. This was an in house order for carry out. I watched all items prepared while I waited(reasonable time) observed online orders coming to the screen as well telephone (641)752-3030 with courteous employees. There is a small area for inside seating and eating. Beverages are available, as well salads, baked sandwiches and desserts. Learned there is delivery available in town with a $2.49 charge to bill; that is not the tip for the driver. Also large orders are taken occasionally for Marshalltown Schools. YOUR CHOICE Online (rewards) Carry Out or Delivery.

when Pizza hut used to actually have a restaurant here in town they were the best pizza around and they offered great service but since they switched over to carry out and delivery only the pizza has really gone down hill you just can't get a good pizza from them any more
