I noticed Lake William as I drove by - I was intrigued and decided to stop in. The staff was very friendly and prepared my order quickly. I had a steak sandwich and it was quite good. The price was reasonable.

Welcome to The Plum Tomato of Marlborough. Located in the Val's Plaza at 547 Boston Post Rd East (formerly Bruno's Pizzeria), The Plum Tomato is Marlborough's new place to go for fresh and delicious pizza, pasta, subs and salads. We are not your typical p
I have to say...Always pleased with the food here...especially the pasta dishes and specialty sandwiches..SO GOOD! There have been 2 occasions where the delivery was messed up, but the owner was right on top it, sent out the correct order immediately and with no charge. Stand up businessman....great food and prices!!Thanks for the 5 star review and the kind words! Though I certainly don't like to hear that there was a delivery mistake on more than one occasion....guess there's always room for improvement :)
My wife and I had business in Marlborough so we stopped at Post Road Pizza for lunch. Great pizza with tasty cheese, tomato and a crust cooked to perfection. Only limited seating available, as much of their business is carry-out. In addition to pizza and calzones, they also offer a variety of subs and wraps as well as burgers, seafood, chicken fingers, chicken wings, fresh salads and pasta dinners. They also have daily specials different coupons for discounts. The counter staff was very friendly, pleasant, and efficient. But the biggest benefit is the quality of the food served there. We will be back.

Pleasant street Pizza and deli is consistently good. The same staff always prepares the food. In my opinion their chicken salad sub is the best! They have been there a long time. I think we have tried everything at some point on the menu. The only reason for four stars is ,French fries could be better. Other than that, Bon Appetite

As frequent visitors to the restaurant, we're always happy to report that the food remains wonderful at reasonable prices, and John, Peter, Penny and Leo are still the friendliest people around. Even the customers, especially Dave the mail carrier, are friendly and help make the dining experience great! ....a great place to go as a family, group, couple or solo.

This restaurant is your typical pizza and burger joint. They serve a wide variety of pizza, calzone, chicken meals and burgers. You will likely be able to find a few of these places where ever you are. The meals are well priced and filling. They are not over the top or fancy. However they are exactly what you asked for. Perfect to go when you need food for a group of friends or a take out meal that is not fast food. So while this style of restaurant is nothing new, they are the best in town. Their prices are the same yet they serve a bit more and taste better than everyone else in town and that is why they stand out over everyone similar. Defiantly worth going back to.

We stopped here after a visit to the American Heritage Museum. Arrived about 1pm, on a Friday. We were seated immediately. A nice, well decorated interior seating area. Some outdoor seating adjacent to the front sidewalk, is available. But no alcoholic beverages are served outdoors, due to local laws. We had the crispy Brussels sprouts appetizer. Very good. And the Mexican Corn Flatbread, with chicken, was fresh and flavorful. The sprouts, flatbread and four sangrias were $77. So, a little pricey by our standards. It may be the going rate for this area. Regardless. Very Good food and excellent service.

I like the fact that healthy options are readily available. My favorite is avocado toast (shareable) - delicious mashed avocado with honey glazed burrata cheese and balsamic glaze on grilled ciabatta bread. Pesto Chicken Salad Caprese is also awesome. And you can build your own pizza. Loved the service, the atmosphere, and the spacious modern interior. Been at this very nice place three times and have not been disappointed so far.

Our bill was well over $30 for two tiny pizza with black-charred crusts. Not much else to say sadly.Dear world traveler 365, Iâm sorry to read you were less than satisfied with your wood fired pizzas. Iâd like to clarify though that the size of the pizzas are actually one size, 12 inches round, priced st fair market value and some charring is to be expected due to the nature of our Italian woodfired oven as advertised. We pride ourselves on the authenticity of our 100% wood fired pizza and the high quality standards we maintain.Hope this helps,Dave

tarted out for a different Italian Restaurant in a near by town, but it was closed. So I chose this place. I am so glad that I did. I showed up about 1 hour before closing and the place was still hopping with mostly locals, (which is a great sign). I was seated right away, and served fresh hot bread from the kitchen. I ordered the Cherry-stone Clam Special with linguine. Excellent choice. All of the food was served quickly, fresh, and steaming hot. The aroma of the place was Italian heaven, with a great hardworking staff out front, and both old and young cooks in the back. Everyone there including the staff looked like they were having a great time. My meal was great, and the portions were large and well worth the very low price. Many patrons came and went with a thriving take-out business along with the in house seating. All-in-all I was very impressed with everything. The reason this place got a 5.0 from me is because there is not a higher number. Great job! Thanks.
