Great selection of wine with some sea views. Discovered their wood fired pizza and loved the option of a half metre pizza. Really friendly staff .

Situato all'interno dello spazio del residence dove alloggiavamo vi abbiamo cenato due volte. La prima ci siamo trovati meglio della seconda. Alcuni piatti, come la frittura mista o gli spaghetti allo scoglio più che discreti, altri molto meno. Pizza nella norma. Manca qualcosa che lo renda un posto particolare

Sapete che vi dico? Merita, davvero. Non è sul porto, bisogna cercarlo attraversando la piazza della chiesa, lungo vicoletti...e poi si arriva. Pizza d'asporto e non solo, gentilezza, un sorriso, la simpatia di Giulia e passione, anche la sera tardi quando ormai si chiude e invece ti preparano pizze squisite in teglia. Forma rettangolare, ottimo impasto ed ingredienti. Un cosa informale. E combinazioni anche raffinate con i fiori di zucca o la porchetta... E poi una buona semplice birra alla spina ma selezionata. Bravi, bello ritornare.

It was a charming restaurant and it was packed with local Italian. Friendly staff, she was very helpful and spoke English perfectly.Our dinner was tasty and it was one of our best meals. We enjoyed the lively square across the restaurant.

We went to Da Andrea on recommendation by locals. When we got there in the afternoon, there was a table of 5 typical local elder men having lunch. We were not so hungry so we only ordered one pizza and one pasta to share. Pizza is very tasty and "crunchy". The pasta spaghetti Scapara (i think) was just tomatoes and cheese 8â¬. This was fabulous. We are going back again. Next time we will try the fresh fish. Their sea food is said to be very good.

Visited here with my girlfriend on a busy August night, chose the restaurant as it seemed popular.The prosecco we ordered was great but the food really let us down.I ordered spaghetti vongole, which came with about 6 clams, most empty shells, while my girlfriend had the pasta with fresh crab, which still had the dead mans fingers attached and not meat within it.Perhaps we came on a bad night but we didn't eat here again.

Good place to have pasta and pizza. No range of other dishes, such as fish etc had the spagetthi (almost no other pasta types) with vongole and mushrooms. Very good but do not compare with a typical high standard restaurant. Good restaurant with family/ kids. Although they were full, we surprisingly did not wait too long and service was friendly and nive. Good vino de la casa. Allover a good recommendation with fair prices.

On a recent holiday to Elba and whilst staying in this resort, this restaurant was one of quite a few we ate in. It was very good we came twice to this restaurant. Good food, good service with a smile; and a good buzzing ambience. Food was excellent, and wine was excellent, lovely all round experience.

A warm greeting awaits at 'La Scaletta', staff work very hard to accommodate all tastes. A little piece of Italian charm, basic food choice but pizzas, pasta & local fish won't disappoint especially, if washed down with some Elba wine. Reasonable, affordable prices. And, worth a mention - Yes, Max the Manager - a fun, entertaining, laid back Liverpudlian.
