This little pizza place was a good hangout when we visited Manly as it was close to our hotel and served very nice pizza. Fast forward to October 2017. Same hotel, off to Pizza Capanna. EXTREMELY disappointed. Salad was OK, service OK, wine OK, pizza dreadful. Thin and soggy with a hard and revolting big wodge of supermarket cheese as a lid. It was like trying to chew a car tyre and about as tasty. Never ever go to this place until it changes ownership and tries to actually serve a pizza instead of a blob of cheesy silage.Hi, I am so sorry to hear about your bad experience here. I would be happy to sort out this situation via email or over the phone, and organise something to make up for this for you.Regards,

Beaches Pizzeria & Cafe as it was originally known, began in 1989. However the baking tradition began years before with a village bakery operating at the present location. Michael Cummins the owner bought the business in 2000 and expanded it to its curren
We were in Beaches when the previous reviewer was there. It was our salad that they were offered. We too then rejected our salad as it came too late after we finished our pizza and after we waited an hour for that pizza. Lots of takeaway action while we were waiting - obviously jumping ahead of us. Lots of doors left open by delivery guys - it was a cold night! Finally the pizza itself was dry and burned - a first for here where the pizza is usually excellent.Put it down to one of those days.Hi if you have been before then you would have just asked for mike the owner and he would have sorted it instead of writing this review. .I would have found out the problem and fixed it straight away. . Best solution is to not come back.

A nostalgic tribute to the classic Italian dining scene of New York City. Pocket Pizza embodies the warm, welcoming neighbourhood restaurant synonymous with Little Italy, NYC.
We enjoyed a fun night at Pocket Pizza as the ambience was lively and busy . The restaurant is located on the corner shopfront on Pittwater Road and Whistler Street. Itâs a little difficult to find parking. We ordered a few dishes which were all excellent. The calamari was fresh and tasty plus the classic margarita pizza was delicious too. The servings were very generous in size so itâs a good thing we shared. We found the staff to be friendly attentive and helpful. A great little find & will return soon.

We visited this place on s sunday morning, 9 oâclock, didnât expect anything to be open at that time. But luckily we found InSitu, serving a good coffee and a nice breakfast. Huge fruitsalad and yoghurt, and a good salmon sandwich.

This was our second visit to deVita. The first a few years ago. This visit was with my family for my daughters 19th birthday. I booked online. Upon arrival it was clear the restaurant was in chaos. The manger appeared out of his depth. 20 mins after arriving we were seated. The manger had clearly moved table numbers as throughout the evening we were being offered someone elseâs orders. Total chaos. Then onto the food. Average at best. The carbonara special was over cooked and âgluggyâ. There was one staff member who clearly was embarrassed at the mess and apologised to us for the chaos blaming a large number of new staff. Why put new staff on a sat night? Very disappointing. I'm sorry that you waited some minutes before sitting. Nobody was out of his depth, we were just very busy as we are every day. You've been offered someone's else food because one waiter gave you a wrong table number, but it doesn't seem a big problem, as they brought that food back and you got what you ordered. I'm sorry that you didn't like it, we are a very successful restaurant because we do our best to increase our food quality and service every day. You've been victim of a new waiter who assigned you a wrong table (yes, why we put new staff on saturday? Because we got two guys sick, we had no choice), but you know what? I don't feel like blaming the new guys, I'm sure they worked hard and made their best. If you complained about your bad experience at that very moment, we would have done everything possible to make you happy. If you want to give us another chance I'm sure you'll change your mind. Feel free to contact us at [email protected] and we'll give you a special gift to make things right.

Set on the Manly Wharf where the ferry docks this restaurant is in a splendid position and many seats and tables have excellent views to Sydney Harbour and the beach next to the wharf. Staff were pleasant though food arrived slowly suggesting the kitchen was struggling. Still my oysters were utterly splendid while the crispy skin barramundi was perhaps overcooked. The sweet potato and ginger mash had no taste of anything except sweet potato and the brown sauce did nothing for the fish. Other courses chosen by my husband were certainly generous and I gather the battered fish of the fish and chips was excellent. The starter of meat balls in a tomato sauce was like a main meal so starter prices were barely less than those for mains. And the martini was ridiculously expensive. $190+ for two courses, two glasses of wine and two cocktails is steep in anyoneâs money for this food.
