We have a Mark's white pizza whenever close to Rochester, and the Newark pizzeria didn't disappoint. The crust is flavorable, perfect thickness and crispy. The toppings are fresh - only problem is there were no jalepenos, but we did fine with crushed red pepper. We have to try the pasta dishes one of these days!

Landing on the Newark Canal and listening to a village concert got us in the mood so we walked across the river and landed at Pontillo's. Ordered up a medium 'roni and black olive, and sipped our Orange Crush while we waited. Pie came out hot, with abundant toppings. I would prefer more sauce, but the crust was good - not spectacular but a good chew to it. Price was the biggest problem - $13 for a 12 inch two topping is a bit steep. Not a large menu as we were hoping for calzones but settled for the pie. Definitiely worth stopping for the flavor - if you've got the cash. Located above the Canal docks, go out back and enjoy the waterfront view!

Stoney's Pizza is loved by everyone in our family. Not only is the pizza good, but the owner is an upstanding citizen as well. He donates food to charities, school events etc. He's willing to go out of his way to help other as well. During a local festival he was the only proprietor that allowed our little girls to use the restroom.
