It is a prefecture-level city in western Henan province. It borders the provincial capital of Zhengzhou to the east, Pingdingshan to the southeast, Nanyang to the south, Sanmenxia to the west, Jiyuan to the north, and Jiaozuo to the northeast. As of the final 2010 census, Luoyang had a population of 6,549,941 inhabitants with 1,857,003 people living in the built-up (or metro) area made of the city's five urban districts, all of which except the Jili District are not urbanized yet.

I have visited over 20 times in the last couple of years whilst working in LY. It's really the only place I've found that reminds me of home food wise. It still has a Chinese take on things but it's all good . The service is not brisk but OK. Avoid Saturday nights it's too busy. Can also get a little noisy in there as family's tend to bring their younger children . Overall very good.

4. Pizza Hut (Xin Dou Hui)

This restaurant is much the same as most Pizza hut in China, good food but a bit of a wait. We don't mind the wait when there are people to watch so grab a window seat. It was also fairly quiet for a Sunday night, so no problem finding a seat.
