The population has grown to 21,542 in the 2010 census from 20,795 in the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Robeson County, the largest county in the state. Lumberton, located in southern North Carolina's Inner Banks region, is located on the Lumber River. Founded in 1787 by John Willis, an officer in the American Revolution, Lumberton was originally a shipping point for lumber used by the Navy, which was sent downriver to Georgetown, South Carolina. Most of the town's growth, however, began shortly after World War II.

Manager waited on us and his attitude was not customer friendly. I did not eat any of the pizza only the kids and they said it was good.

This is not a great Pizza Hut in the chain. It's dated, dirty and rundown. The servers don't really know etiquette in serving a table and the food was average at best. Actually, our "server" asked what I wanted to drink as I was walking down the hall to the restroom. We had barely gotten in the front door and was asked what we wanted to eat. Turns out this was the norm -- everyone was asked at the door what they wanted. Silly me, I like to be seated, look at a menu and be greeted by a server and then asked what we would like, rather than broadcasting it across the front of the restaurant upon entering. Everything was sticky and I just wanted to finish the meal and leave. The pizza buffet was about average but the salad buffet was wilty and it just didn't seem fresh in any way. I guess we should have gone someplace else for lunch. But, Pizza Hut used to be a road trip favorite.

My wife nor I had ever been to Little Caesars before. Based on TV advertisements, we decided to give them a try. We called in our order and waited the appropriate before leaving the house to pick up the order. Of course it wasn't ready when we got there. We ordered the DEEP!DEEP!⢠Dish Pizza. This particular item is what Little Caesars had been advertising on TV so we figured this would be their best. It is also shown on their menu as a Premium pizza. It wasn't. In the picture each of the eight pieces of the pizza have 4 pepperoni's, ours didn't only one section actually had four. The remaining sections had 2 or 1 piece of pepperoni. But that's ok, it wouldn't have mattered because there was so much sauce on the pizza when we took pieces from the box the sauce ran out of the pieces as we lifted them up. The peperoni was sliced so thin that if held up to the light, you could have seen thru it. The chees was not covering the pizza and in addition we had some crust that had no or little cheese inside of it. Remember, this pizza is suppose to have a crust filled with cheese. One of the selling points. This wasn't even good cheap pizza. By comparison, the pizza's from Pizza Hut cost the same, have pepperoni and cheese on them and take the same amount of time for prep and pickup. We won't be going back to Little Caesars.

My husband and I get the Brooklyn crust (thin), mine is veggie and he does the meat lovers. Both pizzas are loaded with veggies and meat. plus ample amounts of cheese. The flavor and crust comes the closest to the Italian pizza I use to get on Long Island.

Staying locally at an area hotel, I ordered delivery. Pizza was awful. I peeled the cheese and pepperoni off the top, and threw the rest away. Our hotel staff suggested that the calzone was very good, I'll never know.

Although this is not a new restaurant, this is the first time my wife and I, along with our best friends, have dined here. We came for pizza because we have heard many comments that this is the place in town for pizza. Upon arriving we met several friends that were bragging about their fried chicken. So, my wife and I ordered fried chicken, and our friends ordered other entrees. The chicken was cooked a little more than we like it, but it had a delicious taste and was very crispy. Our sides included homemade potato salad and Cole slaw. Our friends ordered a Ruben sandwich and lasagna. We all agreed that our meals were very good, and deserving of a return visit for pizza.

Pleasant Pizza always serves great food, greek style, always freshly prepared and hot. Doesnt skimp on staff so orders are taken (at counter) and food is served in a reasonable amount of time. Not a fast food establishment! Always a crowd pleaser, menu has something for everyone. I visit at least once a month.
